Austin >Amillion Tattoos-Body Piercing
worst job ever. i stopped in on my way to happy hour at the domain one day and attempted to get some type of service but the place is a joke. it was dirty to say in the very least and the people are so freakin' unprofessional. from the moment the young dude who's supposedly the "owner" opened his mouth i knew this place was a scam. i don't much feel like babbling on here but trust me - save yourself the waste of time and don't go to this pathetic dirty scam shop in the ghetto.
Ink Therapy at Amillion.... Will, Will, Will... That is the man. Even though I have been to his chair for the last 4 or 5 years, he still explains everything like I was new to the game. So, watching some of these posts on here about them not being clean, I can't believe that. I have never seen anyone get worked on with something that was not sterilized in front of them. If you keep yourself clean you will not get an infection from here. I have been driving 8 hours every 6 monthts to get more ink. I am currently getting a full back piece done, and it is like going to see a therapist... Gotta get back to get my Ink Therapy with Dr. Will... Peace, be there in June 2010.
i got an infection!. I've gotten like 4 other piercings and never had a problem. That is until I went here, I think his name was lance that helped me out. He talked like he knew what he was doing but his hands were so shaky that it was very painful. When he took me back to the room there was dirty gauze and tools just laying around. No one really cared to clean anything up it looked like. I was starting to have second thoughts but I was already there and just wanted to get it done. Any how I got home and started to get an infection on my belly button where I got the piercing and went to the doctors. They did a culture and said that it likely resulted from dirty implements at Amillion Tattoos. Save your self!
DIRTY. I actually didn't get anything done here because when I was sitting there waiting to get serviced I looked around and the place was filthy! There was just left over tools just laying around, none of which looked like it got sanitized in any way. It was so dirty in fact that I got up and walked out.
expensive mistake. I went here to celebrate my birthday and give myself a little treat. I wanted a butterfly on my shoulders, brought a picture, gave thorough instructions on how I wanted it. And it still got messed up! It's completely lopsided and the outline is smeared. It doesn't have a clean neat look but like if you took a permanent marker and smudge it against toilet paper. Not a good look. After checking pricing around town I found out that I was way overcharged.
i asked for a tattoo artist not a butcher. How many cigarette breaks do they need to do a small tattoo? I was there for 2 hours! The person that was doing my tattoo would start and then get up to go smoke or visit with somebody and I was just left sitting there twirling my thumb. It was just a small basic butterfly but he made it seem so complicated, the whole process was just painful and extremely unpleasant. I have four other tats so I'm pretty familiar on how to take care of them but this one didn't last. The ink started fading a few weeks later, and the dude pressed so hard that it raised up the lining like a scar! HORRIBLE!
this place is horrible. I went here for a couple piercings a while back and they were nice and courteous and welcoming... that is until they got my money! The guy that owns the place is a talker and he will charm every dollar he can out of you but then doesn't deliver. His hands were so shaky when he did my piercing that it was scary. I've gotten plenty of piercings before so it's never really concerned me until this time when Lance I think it was did it. It's never fun to see someone twitching at ya with a huge needle. It hurt, came out crooked and they don't really care. What's worst they never have anything in stock. They told me that they would put in a place holder because they didn't have the actual bar that fitted my piercing so it's been over a month! and I'm still walking around with this awkward holder but they've already taken my money. When I call to check the the girl that's at the desk is so rude each and every time. Like I said they're so nice when they want your money but once they do forget about it! Oh and get this they said that the $50 I paid was for my space holders, if I wanted the actual bar I have to pay extra. What the F**K?! Total rip off, don't come here.
Awesomeness!!. I just got my belly button pierced a few days ago and the experience was GREAT!! Jill, the girl who pierced me, was super nice and easy to talk to. They sterilize everything right in front of you and explain everything that they are doing. It is also very private because they are in seperate rooms so you aren't out in the open for everyone else to see what's going on. I highly recommend using Amillion.
Fear the Chicken!! o.O.
I had to name it something random.
Alright, I'm currently 14, I just got my navel pierced at Amillion. I strongly reccomend it. Karen was really sweet, and she told me eveything that was going on, she told me how everything was sterlile, and how it worked. She didn't even wear the same gloves, I don't know about anyone else, but she had like 3 diffrent pairs of sterlile gloves, and when she was finished marking up everything makeing sure it would be centered, she took those gloves off, and used another pair. She gave me every bit of info that I would need, told me to call at anytime, even gave me her cell if I had any problems if I couldn't reach her at Amillion.
That is the only expierience I've had there, and I'm going to go back at somepoint in the future and write a review again. My mom got all of her tattoos there, and all but one piercing. She strongly reccomends Amillion as well.
Absolutely Amazing. I went to Amillion for my second tattoo this last Sunday afternoon, and was very impressed. The exterior isn't much to look at, but the inside was very clean and well-lit and comfortable. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My tattoo artist, Will, was friendly and outgoing, which made me feel very comfortable. He let me pick the music, kept me and my boyfriend laughing through the actual tattooing, and did great work. I am sooo happy with my tattoo, and I will tell anyone who asks me to go to Amillion before anywhere else in town. With my first tattoo, which I got at another local shop, I thought I had a good experience - but Amillion, and Will, showed me what a good tattoo experience really is.
