great place to dance. I LOVE this place. All the dj's I've heard here are amazing and don't play the current top 40 radio hits (which is a great thing). If you're looking for "atmosphere", whatever that might mean to you, this probably isn't gonna be your new fav club. Plus, I don't go out looking for some lovin', and I'm pretty sure this isn't that kind of place if that's what you want. I love the graffiti on the wall and the sparse ambience. Great place to get on the dance floor to dj's who know what they're doing.

Plush Smush. A show featuring one of my favorite local bands, hailing from the live music capital of the world, was advertised- by approval of the Plush- to be 18 & up. Once I arrived at the venue, I was carded, revealing my underage identity, which was rebuttaled by a very FAIR attempt: I was not there to drink. I was there to see my friends perform. I offered The Plush to mark on my wrists, forehead, even give them $20 to the so-called "free show." Apparently the decision was up to the bartender, which continued to refuse my entry.

Explain to me why in the LIVE MUSIC CAPITAL OF THE WORLD there exists elitism within music? I believe my proposal was fair- and the response was inadequate. The Plush is not a representative of local music, only of that that is unfair.

Hip young patrons groove to DJ beats in this miniature dance club just off Sixth Street.. In Short
Featuring different DJs every night of the week, Plush serves up beer and cocktails while house music blares. The hard-edged and cool-toned interior contradicts the club's soft and warm name. A makeshift dance floor in front of the DJ station is the focal point, receiving ambient lighting from pieces of original neon and metal art hanging on the room's bare bricked walls. DJ fans comprise many weeknight crowds, while more casual club-goers partake on weekends.
