AMAZING. This restaurant is the best! If you are looking for good Mexican food in Austin this is the place to go! The servers are all very nice and the food is great. We got our food very fast and it was piping hot and fresh when we got it. I had the cheese enchiladas with green sauce and it was delicious! I will always come back here for some authentic, great tasting Mexican food!

Real Mexican Food. After eating at multiple Mexican restaurants in Austin, La Tapatia remains to concentrate on quality vs. quantity. I hope that this restaurant never loses its focus. Food is delicious whatever you order and great prices. Feel free to practice your Spanish.

However, the bathrooms need to be renovated and cleaner.

Burrito La Tapatia. For $3, count them, THREE FREAKIN' DOLLARS, you can get a burrito filled with 2 meats, lettuce & tomato, smothered in cheese, with beans and rice. You don't finish this burrito in one sitting unless you are starving.

This is a great VALUE for those who want a filling, casual breakfast. THE SALSA, two kinds, ARE BOTH DELICIOUS.
