Worst Wrecker Service Ever!. Worst wrecker service ever! Recently I was in an accident where my truck was towed by this company. When I tried to pick my truck up on a Friday afternoon the woman who answered the phone told me she was not available at that time for me to pick it up, she then proceeded to ask me if I could pick it up the next day and to tell her co-worker to waive the Saturday fee. I agreed, regretfully. Upon calling Mack's wrecker service on Saturday to give notification that I would again, be picking up my truck the woman working was extremely rude and stated she would not waive the fee's. After having to take her verbal abuse she hung up on me twice, then she had the nerve to call me back and say she wasn't going to talk to me anymore about the situation and I could come in Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm to deal with my truck.I believe this wrecker service's actions are against the law and I have already taken steps towards reporting them the Texas Dept. of Transportation. I would never recommend this company's services to anyone.

Do not use this service. Rude, unreliable.. I had the displeasure of working with Mack's Wrecker when GEICO contracted them to tow my car under my roadside service insurance coverage.

GEICO contacted them and gave them my location before I got off the phone with GEICO.

I called Mack'S Wrecker 15 minutes after I'd gotten off the phone with GEICO to make sure I had given them the correct cross street. The woman working the phones at Mack's Wrecker told me, "We haven't even heard from GEICO yet."

This was a lie. GEICO contacted them while I was on the phone with them 15-20 minutes before.

I was on a pay phone so I hung up and waited.

And waited.

I gathered more change for the pay phone. I called back telling the woman who answered the phone that I was still waiting. She sounded so sleepy and unprofessional that I thought I'd dialed a wrong number. She said she didn't even know who I was. I said I was the one who had called earlier, who GEICO had called for. I told her I was still waiting, and GEICO had said it'd only take 60 minutes.

She snaped, "Well it's only been 45 minutes since you called."

I said, "I called you 15 minutes after GEICO contacted you."

She then claimed that I was yelling at her and I hung up as I was paying for the call.

I called GEICO to report that Mack's Wrecker had not come and that I needed a different service. The GEiCO representative then contacted Mack's Wrecker. She came back on the phone with me and said that Mack's Wrecker was refusing to send someone based on the conversation we just had. (A conversation that took place over an hour after GEICO first contacted them.

.20 to 25 minutes later, I called GEICO and issued a complaint about Mack's Wrecker and told them I found other arrangements.

When I got home, I called GEICO again to caution them about unleashing Mack's Wrecker servicec on other stranded customers. The GEICO representative told me that Mack's Wrecker had called and asked for payment for GOA (Gone on Arrival!) GEICO refused.
