Great food, but dirty inside

The food at any Maudie's is great, especially for the price. However, this location is tiny and very noisy. It was also extremely dirty when we ate there. The floors, tables and bathrooms were filthy, to the point where we almost walked out.

The servers here were rather inattentive. The constantly forgot things and took forever to bring things. I recommend Maudie's highly, just be sure to visit the one of Brodie Lane.

• Cons: Drity, loud, inattentive staff

Quality Mexican with an Austin zing!

MMMM....I love Maudies! They are always so nice there. I have only had my order messed up one time out the hundreds of times I have been there and not only were they very gracious about it, they also gave us the meal messed up for free! I recommend this place to anyone wanting great tex-mex with that great Austin feel!

Delicioso!

This is one of my favorite Tex-Mex Restaurants. I started eating there in the mornings. Pete's Tantalizing tacos are the best!! Then I thought I'd try lunch and as expected the enchiladas are amazing! And of course, what come next? Dinner.. and yes, it's great! Sometimes the service is a little hit & miss but the food is always fantastic.
