Great Stylist = Great Haircut. Mary is a great stylist who really understood my hair. I have black wavy hair and very few stylists understand the logistics of long black wavy hair. Mary has cut my hair twice in the last 3 months and has done a fabulous job of guiding me about easy styling as well.

I totally recommend her to everyone out there who dont have blonde straight hair.

Excellent Stylists. I've been going to this salon for 2 years now, and have had only good experiences. The people there are very nice and friendly, I'd recommend either Juanita (short cuts) or Leslie (cut & color).

Workers need to stop talking amongst themselves and help customers. Ulta used to be a good place to get cosmetics. Unfortunately, the service has seriously gone downhill in the past few years.

The other day, I went in intending to buy quite a bit of Bare Minerals makeup. My supply of several of the products was low, so I was going to spend quite a bit of money. However, I could not find one employee that would help me. They were all congregated together giggling and talking. I caught the attention of a couple of them, but I was ignored. So, I walked out with my money still in my purse.

Sadly, this is not just representative of the Brodie location. I've been to a couple of locations in the past few months, and this seems to be the way all of them are run now.

I am very disappointed with this store. I'll just buy my Bare Minerals online from Sephora from now on.

Horrific Experience at Ulta Salon: know what you're getting in to.... My hair salon appointment at Ulta was the worst experience at a salon I have ever had my entire life. I went in for a root touch-up (simple enough you would think)- however the woman I made my appointment with immediately let me know that she would not have enough time to finish out my service...and told me she only trusts 2 people to handle my root touch up. So after she and a colorist went through the consultation with me, informing me that my medium brown roots, would end up being a shade of a natural low-light shade of brown in my current palette- and end up nothing like the blonde tones in my head. They mixed the dye up in back, and endorsed another colorist to apply the dye to my roots...these 2 women assured me nothing could go wrong since they had already mixed the color, and the application is the easy part. WRONG. I turned out having "hot roots" another wards---NEON GLOWING YELLOW roots with shades of GREEN grey on the sides of my head!!! No other colorist was available to fix them that same afternoon...and so they told me to come back the next morning to see the manager (Renee) for a color correction...however since my roots had been over-bleached..there was not much she was able to do to correct the color and I left in disappointment with my yellow mismatched roots. Since they were not able to offer anything to me to correct the situation, I was directed by Renee to call the Ulta customer service line---but only to be treated with complete disrespect...SO leave any and all expectations for a satisfactory salon experience or friendly customer service with Ulta Salon before entering their door.
