Diamonds In The Ruff

Best dog groomer in town. Love taking my dog there. I have a very insecure (but loveable) Shi Tzu mixed mutt rescue dog named Toby that I found in the middle of Highway 183 a couple of years ago. After trying a few groomers around town, including some upscale places, that charged quite a bit more but didn't do a very good job, I found Diamonds in the Ruff right here on CitySearch. Took Toby to Diamonds and not only did Shelly do a great job, but it was obvious that Toby was comfortable with being at her place (at least as comfortable as he ever gets outside of his home territory).

Shelly really cares about pleasing her customers - she always asks me how I want to get him groomed each time instead of assuming or telling me how I should. The location is not fancy, but come on - it's a dog grooming shop - and she consistenly does the best grooming job Toby's ever had while continuing to keep her rates extremely reasonable.

I've been taking Toby there for over 2 years and I can't imagine taking him anywhere else.…

Great Groomer. Shelly at Diamonds in the Ruff always gives my poodle a GREAT cut. Unlike other groomers my dog has been to, Shelly asked me beforehand if I wanted her feet cut "poodle style". She explained what that meant, and I was pleased to find out it could save my dog from licking her little paws from the blades cutting too close to her skin! My dog is never unhappy when I pick her up and she always looks and smells great. I like how Shelly has Saturday appointments and I can drop my dog off early, and she's usually done in about 2 hours so I don't waste my day waiting for her to be done. As a very picky "mom", I highly recommend Shelly and Diamonds in the Ruff.…
