It is very hard to find a doctor that you like and trust. I am writing this review to help woman cross one doctor off their list in her search for that special physician. The entire visit was uncomfortable. I should have turned around and walked out the door as soon as I saw the unhappiness on her staff's face. Clearly negativity goes downhill and that hill is Dr. Yamaki. While I was waiting in the room, I overheard the doctor barking at her staff and using profanity at the same time. Unfortunately, my level of uncomfort greatly increased when she entered my room. Dr. Yamaki's shifty, brisk and hyper demeanor made me even more nervous than my impending pap smear! In my opinion, I found it very peculiar that she was unclear of my exam and seemed to be "pushing" additional tests on me which made me feel as if it was to benefit her wallet rather than my health. That opinion was only further confirmed when she began discussing (read: "selling") me on getting botox and/or restylane at her practice. I have lost all faith in her and will NEVER return.

Dr. Yamaki was very helpful and spent alot of time with my wife and I answering our questions. We were very scared when we found out my wife had to have surgery. She made my wife's surgery as comfortable as a surgery could be, and not at all as scary as we thought. I feel Dr. Yamaki is a very compassionate person. My wife is now healing nicely after the surgery, thanks!
