Under the same ownership for 20 years, The Heart of Texas Motel's clean rooms, affordable prices and family hospitality attracts business travelers and families alike. A horseshoe pit, putting green and swimming pool are just a few amenities that make this 30-room motel feel like home.

The Amenities
Each unit has a microwave, small refrigerator and coffeemaker for your convenience and ceiling fans to cool off after a long day. Motel managers Bob and Jeanette keep the rooms and property in tip-top shape and even find time to tend the multiple rose bushes. The Heart of Texas Motel also boasts some Hollywood history having been the site for scenes of "Blood Simple" directed by the Cohen brothers and a Trisha Yearwood video featuring Matthew McConaughey.
