NOT ALL THAT GREAT. Very disappointing at best. The food was OK but nothing special. When the 4 people in our party sat down the waiter brought us a bowl with some sour kraut and 2 half sour pickles. 2 pickles for 4 people, really. We were brought more on request but only a couple at a time. The soup was OK but had no real taste. It was flat but the matzoballs were good. They charged us $9.99 for 2 franks that were NOT kosher franks although they were all beef. The sandwiches cost $11.99 and were not as full as one would expect for that price. The knish cost $5.00 and was not anything like the square New York style knishes we love. We had 2 sandwiches, 2 soups, 2 franks, 4 sodas 1 side of fries, and 1 knish and the bill came to $67.43. We could have gone to A steak house and eaten better for as much or less. I grew up in New York and ate in delis there all the time and I am sorry to say the Manny Hatten's does not fit their mold. No more eating there for us.

Confusing reviews.... This is my first review. I was trying to find a menu for Manny's so I'd be prepared for tonight's outing. I always have to read the entire menu before choosing! I think it drives my boyfriend nuts. lol Anyway, I stumbled onto the reviews and had to add my own comments. I love this restaurant. I have never had a better reuben. You just can't go wrong with ANY of their sandwiches. I love their cheesecake and their black and white cookies too. I have to agree that the potato salad is a little plain, but I ask for extra pickles (sours are the best) and cut one up. I add it to the potato salad and it's just perfect. I'm never able to finish my whole meal and it's the only "leftover" meal that I eat straight from the fridge without warming it up. It's that good!! I have never met the owner but I have also never had a complaint. Maybe I'd change my mind about the restuarant if someone was really mean to me or my guests, but I have never had that happen. I just had to give a shout out for Manny's because I've always received great food!!!

Gross. This is not like the true New York Deli's I love to go to in New York. The sandwiches are disgusting-- meat is gross, bread is gross. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone who has ever really had a New York Deli Sandwich.

Hmm... Cheesecake :). I called in my order for lunch (took the advice of a previous reviewer that stated the lunch counter gets busy); Brooklyn Bridge with potato salad and a slice of Cheesecake w/ Strawberry topping. They forgot to toast my bread, as requested, but got the triple decker part right (kinda weird that you have to request a triple when its usually standard). Also, there was no potato salad in the bag?.service needs to step it up a little (it wasn?t busy). However, everything was forgiven once I got back to office and ate the cheesecake. Oh my gosh? totally awesome and the strawberry topping that came in a separate container was still warm and oh so yummy.

Despite planted review...Manny's is pretty good. Manny's is pretty close to the Jewish Deli's you'll find in NYC. Huge sanwiches with more meat than you can imagine (and the big bill$ that comes with it.

I found the selection was good and the quality was as well. You'll have to wait a while if you walk in the door and order take out...so call ahead. Usually room, and you can get authentic Carnigie Deli in NY cheesecake which is pretty much the best cheesecake you'll ever eat.

Good stuff.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE FAKE GOOD REVIEWS. Manny Hatten's plants FAKE GOOD REVIEWS to boost their ratings, it's clear by looking at the cookie cutter reviews that really amount to nothing more than advertising for the restaurant. DO NOT BE FOOLED, scroll toward the bottom of the reviews to get a good idea of the real opinion of this place before they began planting fake good reviews.

There's a reason they have a guy standing out on 183 in a sandwich suit and it's not because they are a 4 to 5 star restaurant.

free wifi/free coffee. Looking for a place with a new york feeling for breakfast, swing by mannyhattans before you head to work. They also offer free coffee until 11am mon-fri, need connection for your laptop, they even throw in free wifi for those of you keyboard pusher.....

Best Rueben in town. I was pulled to Manny Hattan's wanting to try something different. I was very impressed. The foodwas excellent and the staff was a wonderful delight to a bad day. I tried the Rueben, Amung other thing the taste was out of this world. The portion was outstanding and I could not get enough. If you want a sandwich that will keep you coming back then try this one. Now I will not go more than 2 weeks with trying something new. PS...YOU Have to get the cheesecake.
