The first time I went there I had a very pleasant encounter the secretary helped me understand alot of what I didnt understand. My car was fixed like it was brand new again, now it took 1 or 2 days longer than planned however i was notified before hand that, that might occur due to the extensive damage on my car. However all was well at the end.

The receptionist has horrible customer service. She is nasty to me on the phone. After A MONTH not calling, I called twice in a day and she said she will report me for harassment. I just want to know where the part I've been waiting fro FOUR months. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP.

Worst Body Shop in Austin, and maybe the Whole World. If it weren't for my mechanic intervening and going to the shop to get my car back for me, I still probably wouldn't have it.

The receptionist is a pathological liar. She refuses to give any accurate or useful information. She lies about parts being in stock or not being in stock. She lies about contact with the insurance company that never took place. She lies about what the technicians say about the condition and progress of the vehicles. If you ask questions, she calls you "Rude" and sets out to make the process as difficult and convoluted as possible. She's not only the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered, I believe she is severely mentally ill.

The technicians were never available when I called or visited the shop. They don't feel a need to complete quality work in a timely manner. They charged me more than what their original quote was, but refused to give me an itemized bill. They make arbitrary decisions about which forms of payment they'll take, despite their sign saying that they take all major credit cards.

D-Town Body Shop has had 7 complaints with the Better Business Bureau in the past 3 years. The BBB gives them an F grade.

Please, whatever you do, do not go to this body shop. Ever.

Best Body Shop in Austin. Had the vehicle taken to D-Town. They provided a wrecker to pick the vehicle up. Then the insurance adjuster worked with D-Town to approve the estimate. We did not have to be involved with anything with the insurance or the body shop. D-Town also repaired the vehicle completely and it was very clean when I picked it up. It was also repaired days before the insurance adjuster thought it would be and was repaired completely as the estimate stated.

Will always use D-Town and recommend that everyone else does also.
