Ceil's reflexology and massage/Best massage in the South. WOW.... and then WOW again.. Unbelieveable! That was the best massage I have ever had and I have traveled A LOT.! Intuitive and detailed down to the last thing on my body. I could have anything , deep or relaxing and she knew how to do all of it. NOT a run of the mill massage that you see so often. Custom made for me. Nice atmosphere and really sweet people in the spa. A HIDDEN treasure in Austin. Then another time I had reflexology. An Hour and half work on my feet. I felt like I had a massage after it was done..Incredible! And no pain anywhere in my body when it was done! Just a heavenly feeling!

You've got to go see her. Great massage, great energy, and fantastic reflexology!!! You don't even have to be a member to see her. And the price is great. The spa is hidden away in the Body Business Health Club

best gym ever - where everyone knows your name :). i have no idea why someone would write what they wrote in the review titled "worst gym ever"... sounds like a personal vendetta against a world-class gym. i've been a member of body business for almost a year now and i have never, NOT ONCE had a bad experience. this gym feels like a family, so it's hurtful to read such insults on a review. there's a classy way to review a gym, and that wasn't it. so let me tell you about my experience at the anderson lane location:

the membership coordinator is engaging and sweet. not pushy at all. i got a tour of the place and loved it from the get go. i met the owner of the gym, susan, who is the nicest person. and what's more, she pours her life into this gym. one time, i called up at the gym at 8pm and she was there answering phones. now that is a dedicated and passionate owner.

moreover, the staff is amazing. they all know my name and there is such a friendly atmosphere. even when i have no desire to work out, i'll still go just because i feel like i'm on a cheers episode - where everybody knows your name. i've tried 3 other gyms and i always felt like it was a meat market or show off contest. at body business i feel like i can really be myself. no one cares what you wear, what you look like, or how hard of a body you may or may not have.

i'm not the most fit person in the world, but i feel confident when i work out there. the classes are a blast, especially zumba. i'm addicted. the management is dynamic and dedicated. this is the only gym i could ever imagine being a part of - and this whole consistent work out thing is new to me. it's a family owned gym and has been around in austin for 25 years.

when i think of body business, i think of integrity, dedication, and a gym that genuinely cares about me as a person, a whole person, not just a number. i couldn't disagree more with "loves2workout"'s negative review. feel free to email me and i will tell you more about this incredible gym and my unbelievably positive experience there. but let's just say this: i've had amazingly positive experiences with everyone there, from the massage therapists, the dietitian, the membership coordinator, to the trainers, the class instructors, and the maintenance guy! it's a great place - one you'll be glad you joined. and a place you'll actually look forward to going to, instead of dreading :) need i say more?…

Worst Gym Ever! Way Overpriced! Old Equipment! Do NOT Join!. I have been a member at Body Business for many years and this is my last. In the past it was a great gym but the management is running this place into the ground. I along with many other members have expressed our frustations with the managers several times to no avail. Every week there seems to be a problem: last week no electricty, before that no hot water, the old equipment is always breaking down, and the list goes on and on. They cannot in anyway justify charging $54 a month. Not to mention you only have axcess to one location, if you want to be able to use both locations you will be spending over $100 a month! The owner is unaproachable, the so called "managers" are VERY unprofessional! They never talk to the members and I even overheard the owner and the GM talking about how a member "has really packed on the pounds" (the GM is not in shape either & her shorts are way too short) They closed down half of their building space to save money and squished all the equipment into a few classrooms. Everything is so cramped together. They took away the nice Yoga & Pilates studio and now they put us in those cluttered rooms, I stopped taking those classes. The class schedule does offer alot of classes but as soon as you like a class they take it away. If you complain about the changes in the schedule it does no good, trust me. There are some very good staff members and trainers there too, but the good ones don't seem to stay very long. The turnover here is very high, every month someone else is gone. You can tell the members are getting tired of all the poor business practices too, it seems like every time I go there are less and less people. The one bonus to that is you never have to worry about waiting for a squeky machine; the gym is usually empty. Stay away! The membership person is very nice and good at what he does but don't let his charm and sense of humor fool you, IT'S NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!…

Cleanest Gym. This gym is the cleanest in Austin. I use 2 of them Davenport and the one on Anderson. Best maintained and professional atmosphere. Gatta see to believe. Maybe I'm a hygiene freak- but this facility was #1 choice for me. Some other options just don't maintain their appearance.
