Great Customer Service and Honest!. I took my car in for an inspection and to fix a headlight. They did a good job and it was fast, but due to a miscommunication they accidentally gave me an oil change that I did not request. They took accountability for it and gave me the oil change for free with no hassle or attitude. Outstanding customer service! I would absolutely recommend this place.

$200 for a wheel for Nissan Altima. ...not bad, huh?

These guys were referred by (previous) owner of the car I've bought a year ago. I was new to this area and I had to rush into my job and classes so I appreciated the reference.

Guys were really polite, nice (up to a point) their prices were reasonable (not the lowest), they seemed to knew this car well etc.

But when I happened to hit the curb and a wheel had to be replaced - they charged $200 for a wheel (not including the job). Not golden-plated, not diamond decorated, not even alloy - just a plain metal wheel.

Well, that was a proper time to screw me up - alien, no other car, unfamiliar to the area and have no time to tow the car to other location...

Bye, Auto Tech, and never again.

Excellent Place!. I highly recommend these guys. HONEST, professional, friendly, clean, reasonably priced...I could go on. I have only been here once but these guys are definitley my only choice for my auto needs in the future. They did a fantastic job on every issue I had and had my car back to me quickly. I can't say good enough things about these guys. Bottom line: You can't go wrong here. A++

You can trust this place!!. I read a lot of reviews before I decided on where to take our Kia to get the brakes repaired. I emailed Austin Auto Techs and told them what was going on with the brakes. Hugh replied very quickly giving some ideas of what he thought was wrong. He got us in very quickly and had the repairs done within 24 hours. The price was exactly what it should have been...no overcharging. We even left with a coffee mug which was really nice.

Hugh was extremely honest and we felt he broke down all we should do but prioritized the suggestions between what was vital for safety and what should be done soon. They explained everything and didn't try to pressure us to do more than what was needed.

We will be taking both our vehicles to this place in the future and I highly suggest you do the same!

Can't be beat. Upstanding and honest to the core. You will not find a more personable staff or friendlier demeanor than the pros at Auto Techs. Thanks Hugh and Brian!

Honest mechanics are priceless. A couple of years ago someone recommended Hugh and Brian to me for work on my truck. After my first visit, I've sent everyone I know there! Hugh always thoroughly explains the problem and all of the options in plain English and never tries to sell me something that I don't need.

The place to take your car. for oil changes, tuneups, minor repairs! The are fast, honest and priced right. They also came highly recommended by some of my co-workers that know a thing or two more about cars than myself :) Seriously, after having my water pump go out on me one morning on MOPAC, hearing the service rep at the <ahem> dealership quote me a price of $800+ to fix it. I quickly drove it off the lot and over to Hugh & Brian's where they fixed it for half the price! They've accomodated me on several occasions since. These guys are great!
