Hands Down, Best Photographer in Austin. Prepare to be amazed! My fiance and I selected Kim to shoot our engagement photos. We were a little nervous about the process (since we realize we are not professional models), but from the moment we met Kim at our photo location she immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed. This gave us the opportunity to really enjoy our photography session. She captured some of the most unique and intimate details - romantic glances, a kiss on the forehead, us laughing at a joke. Most importantly, Kim was able to capture the "personality" of my fiance and I. Literally, there were so many great photos to choose from it was hard to narrow down our final list for printing.

Not only were her photos impeccable, but Kim is so responsive when it comes to finalizing your prints. The proofs were provided to us on a website in a very timely manner. She is very flexible with format. I was able to purchase a digital copy for our save the dates. Additionally, I was able to select photos for print - which Kim personally retouched and printed in her own studio.

This was an experience we will never forget, and we now have the most beautiful pictures to help us remember far into the future. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. You will be missing out on something special if you don't work with Kim...

Beautiful, artistic wedding photography. The moment I met Kim at her studio, I knew she would be our wedding photographer. She was prepared, organized, thoughtful in her approach to our wedding and her studio was immaculate! She took the time to get to know us as well as our family and our wedding/reception location so that the photography was a seamless part of our big day. In addition to being professional and so easy to work with, her photos of our wedding are FABULOUS!!! Every photo captured not only the people, but also the mood, the lighting, the entire moment just as if the person looking at the photo was actually there. There were so many perfect photos it was hard to choose which ones to use in our album. Ultimately, our wedding album turned out to be the most exquisite piece of art! It captures our entire day so beautifully and everyone who sees it says it is by far the best album they have ever seen. Kim is a wonderful person to work with and obviously a perfectionist when it comes to photography.

Best photographer...more like an artist!. Kim shot my wedding and I could not be happier! When I sent the login to look at photos to some family and friends that could not attend, they were blown away by the wonderful photos. Kim captured the mood, feelings, and moments so that they felt like they were there. More than one person has actually referred to her as an "artist". Her creativity and patience to get the right shot is unlike any photographer I have worked with, and I have been a bridesmaid in a lot of weddings. Kim went over a "schedule" with us, but I never felt rushed or herded around, like I have seen other photographers do at weddings. I truly can not say enough about her. Our memories are forever captured thanks to Kim! Definitely recommend her!

Fabulous portrait photographer for professionals, families, weddings. Kim Francois takes time to get to know the people she takes pictures of, then she captures the most beautiful pictures of the real you. She knows when you're faking it and how to make you feel comfortable so your true character comes through in the portrait. She origionally did professional portraits for me a few years ago and recently when I needed them done again, I went out of my way to make sure she was my photographer. I have seen several of her wedding albums and they are extremely artistic, capturing moments and memories dear to all involved. She definately has an eye for creatively capturing the essence of the subject. Also, very important; she is reliable, honest, friendly, easy to be with, fun, and yet a true professional.

Kim is an amazing photographer!. Words can not adequately express how much we LOVE our wedding album! It is absolutely exquisite and a beautiful piece of art. Friends who have seen our album have commented on its creativity and photographic brilliance. More than one person said our wedding album is the best they've ever seen. We agree! We'll be ever grateful that we found Kim for our wedding. From start to finish, Kim was such a pleasure to work with. We love the amazing engagement pictures and the bridal portraits were stunning, if I may say so myself. And, the wedding day photos were equally wonderful, a perfect balance of artistic, photojournalistic and formal/posed pictures. We also appreciated how she made such an effort to learn the names of our family members and friends. That made the process so much more personal and fun. We feel incredibly blessed to have had Kim photograph our wedding. Not only because she gifted us by beautifully capturing our special moments, but because through it all, she became our dear friend. Sincerely, Mary Elizabeth

FUN to work with, Amazing eye for detail, Gorgeous photos. The minute I stepped into her showroom I knew Kim would photograph our wedding. I went to several other photographers and they all seemed very mechanical, overpriced, and took more posed, almost cheesy, photos like a prom. Kim has a fun, light-hearted spirit and an obvious passion for her craft. She is a photojournalist, working more like an artist to capture the 200+ candid "real" moments (and of course the obligatory 10-20 posed family shots, too), and oh my gosh she over-delivered in every way possible. Obviously your wedding photographer is the one thing you have to get right - you only get one shot. Kim listened and ask very detailed questions during walk-throughs of each wedding event and I am not kidding she captured every single moment of our wedding. Going through our album is like reliving the entire day: getting ready and being silly with friends, walking the aisle with my dad, the groom awaiting his bride, special moments during the ceremony, our first kiss, our first dance (multi-sequnce - awesome!), toasts, cake, the usher who got so drunk he was dancing with a waiter's tray on his head...and an incredible shot of us leaving under a rain of petals and awesome shot in front of the capital. And yet I honestly don't remember seeing Kim - she was so stealth! She made everyone so comfortable; our candid photos are just that - candid...everyone's personality came through beautifully...and she managed to take every shot to flatter my figure! I cannot recall one picture we didn't like. We had a very hard time selecting photos for our album and have leftover proofs that didn't make the cut all over our house. The best photo, if there is one best, is what we refer to as "the money shot" - it looks like a piece of art. We blew it up to a HUGE size and have it in our den. We were truly blessed to have found Kim and now have incredible keepsakes for generations to come. We are for sure going back to her for family portraits with our kids (when they arrive!).

I am a happy customer!. I dreamed all my life about my wedding day. I wanted it to be perfect. I knew when it was over all I would have to show for it was my wonderful husband, the dress I hoped I would never wear again and photographs. So the photographs had to be the best. I put a lot of my pre-wedding energy into finding the right person to take my wedding pictures. Kim Francois was perfect for the job. I totally trusted her and she exceeded all my expectations. Our storytelling wedding album is a work of art and we keep it on our coffee table to show all of our friends. It captures the beauty of our day and represents the legacy we plan to share with our children.

Kim is my #1 referral. Oh my gosh - my wedding pictures are unbelievable. Kim is amazing! I actually interviewed TEN photographers - yeah, that is right, ten - before I selected Kim. I tend to be a little bit picky. It really paid off cuz I love my wedding pictures. I don't know how she did it since she was kind of invisible but she got every detail of my wedding and in some cases from several angles. She also made me look fantastic or "jaw dropping" as my husband would say. I have lots of friends who are getting married in the near future. Kim will be my #1 referral.

I would highly recommend Kim to my friends. Thank God for Kim! She was absolutely wonderful!! As the mother of the bride, I was so grateful to have a competent, professional photographer to help me with my daughter's wedding. From the very beginning with our planning meetings she helped us visualize the wedding which in turn enabled us to work through each detail with confidence and precision. And the pictures - they were breathtaking! I learned a new respect for the art of photography watching Kim work and I now have a beautiful wedding album that reflects her artistry and captures the joy and happiness we felt during the wedding. We couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Kim to our friends.
