Where it's Happy Hour all The Time!

This bar is awesome! From the people that brought you Barfly's (5420 Airport Blvd.), The Hideout Pub (12164 North MOPAC), and Bender Bar and Grill (Suite 300 @ 321 West Ben White Blvd.). MUGSHOTS IS NOT A COLLEGE BAR! There might be some people there that are that age, but this is a bar where you can get away from the 6th street rigamaroll and the frat losers and can actually have a good time! The juke box is 0% hip hop! You will like this juke box: everything from Foo Fighters, The Stones, ACDC, The Who, Ween, The Cult, Nine Inch Nails, Duran Duran, System of a Down, Smashing Pumpkins, Slayer, ZZ Top, and more newer alternative music that has no hip hop! Tons of domestic, LOCAL and imported beer in the cooler to choose from. Outdoor smoking patio with speakers from the jukebox. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating. One pool table. Cozy atmosphere. MONDAY NIGHT (8 to close) is OPEN MIC NIGHT, hosted by Acoustic Odyssey (12 string guitarist Chuck Miller and the Kickass J Shepard on six string guitar). Bring a guitar and sing yer butt off. Sign up starts at 8. Great Food is right across the street: Kebabalicious- Turkish Style Wraps. Order a hot kebab and wash it down at the bar with a cold beer. Good Stuff! What else is there to say? CHEAP DRINK PRICES! Domestic Beers: $2.50 Wells: $2.50. You can get a LONE STAR and a JAGER SHOT for $5! It's called a happy meal. Great mixed drink prices too, you will be impressed how far your money will go. Cool bartenders: J, Joe, Albert and Marcos. No attitude except the good kind. The people that come to mugshots are cool too: no attitudes, just people that want to party on cheap drinks and smoke their brains out on the patio while listening to good music. A NEW photo booth is coming too! Mugshots is at 407 E. 7th Street, between Trinity and Neches, right across the street from the parking lot that is a whole city block, so plenty of parking. Checkout Mugshots on myspace too! THIS IS A GREAT BAR FOR TOURISTS! Mugshots = Good Times!
- Pros: Cheap Drinks, no hip hop Juke Box, smoking patio, pool table, photo booth, cool bartenders
- Cons: You will have to see if there are any drawbacks to this place, I can't!!!
Searching for a better atmosphere

Iv'e been trying to find bars where i don't have to be surrounded by frat daddys and sorrostitutes, can relax, and actually afford to get a little drunk and have a decent conversation. Drink prices are awsome for 6th and my bartender was great.
- Pros: good drinks and people, good atmosphere
My favorite bar

I've been going to this bar for almost two years now and I've never had a bad time there. Never too crowded and the regulars are great! Bartenders are friendly and fast. They have plenty of beers and always something you've probably never heard of. Jukebox is the reason I came back to this bar, great music! All in all, there is no doubt that mugshots is my favorite bar downtown!!
- Pros: atmosphere, music, people, drink prices
- Cons: I don't live closer, lol
