substandard facial at espensive price. I got a gift certificate for the spa and they were having a special at the time. Book a europen facial and get a free microbrasion. So I book the europen facial and when i get there the beautician suggested i get the the deep cleansing instead. Forgetting about the free microabrasion i said fine "whatever you think best" After finishing I went to the front desk to make the appointment for the micro and was told that sorry that is only valid with the european facial. I explained that the Beautician changed the appointment and was basically told too bad. I went for a followup facial last week and the experience I had was so unbelieveable. My first appointment I was told to take off my clothes and was given a gown to wear. I was given a foot massage and a neck massage and when i left I was glowing and relaxed. On the followup visit i arrived at my appointment at 2:35 the appointment was set for 2:40 the beautician cam and got me from the witing room (which was non-existent they had no waiting area) at 3:10 at which point she rushed me into the room. Fully clothes with my shoes on I was told to lay down. NO massage no pampering. Then she threw some cream on my face put the steam machine on and left for 20 minutes. came back wiped my face with a towel. Did about 5 minutes of extractions. Then put more cream on my face and left for 15 minutes. came back wiped my face and said your done. . I think that it is very dishonest to take money from someone and not provide the expected service. I have to say after the first vist even with the dishonoring of the microabrasion I was still a fan. But after the second treatment I will never go back or reccomend this place to anyone.

The Best Spa Ever. I have visited Amanda a few times now for an "herbal facelift" and it's amazing. It's like no other facial I have ever had. It's a spiritual experience not just for my face but my heart and soul as well. It melts away my stress and gives me 90 minutes where it's all about me. She masages my hands and feet, all of the products that she applies smell heavenly and I walk out of there like a brand new person. I can't say enough about her and her talent. Any woman that works, is a mother or wife definitely deserves a visit to Amanda once a month. We are worth it. So try it-your family will be proud of you for taking care of yourself and you will come home smiling!

Horrible Experience. The first first time I went to the spa, I went with a friend. I was not from Round Rock, so I was unsure of how to get to the location. I make reservations the second time around for my mom's birthday, but had gotten lost and was late for my appointment. I called several times trying to find the salon but was unsuccessful. I had arrived late and was charged full price and all my services were rushed and was told I better make use of the time because I was still paying full price for all services. I feel like we were being punished for being late. I was embarrassed after telling my mom how much fun she was going to have it was the complete opposite, maybe they just had a bad day???? Never will return

Annie @ Burnet Road Rocks!. I have been going to Annie at the Burnet Road location to get massages for roughly 2 years. She not only gives the best massages ever, she is incredibly thoughtful to show you stretching techniques and she takes the time to explain how your muscles work together. She is so sweet and thoughtful too, remembering about your life and asking how everything is going. Annie really knows her stuff and makes you feel like you are the only person in the world for the hour that she is giving you your massage. I highly recommend Annie! Ever time I leave, I feel like a million bucks!

Amanda...Best aesthetician ever!. When I moved to Austin almost 2 years ago I had the fun task of finding all new people...you know doctors, hair stylist, nails, etc. I learned the hard way a few years ago never to get your eyebrows done at a regular walk-in nail salon. Lesson learned!

Thank God I found Halina's, and even more thankful I found Amanda. I have pretty unruly eyebrows and pretty sensitive skin as well. Not only does she always create the perfect shape, I have no redness at all by the time I get home, which is rare for me. She also gives the best facials out of anyone I've ever been to, dermatologist offices included. I live about 25 minutes away, and I will drive there just to get my eyebrows done....that's how good she is!

The place is gorgeous and serene, and everyone who works there gives impeccable customer service as well. I am pretty picky when it comes to this stuff, and they are hands down the best spa in the area. Definitely go to Amanda for brows and facials too!

Best Massage Ever. I started going to Brad to get massages a couple of years ago and he is the best! His touch is firm enough to knead out the knots yet gentle enough that you feel soooo relaxed afterwards! He incorporates hot rocks and reflexology in his sports massage, it's increditble! Of all the massages I have gotten in spas at even the best vacation resorts and around town, his massage tops them all!

Halina's Salon A Must for Smooth Hair!. Ask for Erin for your stylist. She is wonderful. We first did a consult and she told me my hair needed a great conditioner and haircut. I told her nothing I have tried WORKS!! Expensive conditioners of the past I had tried - fail. She told me about Kerasmooth. This conditioning treatment is worth every penny! My hair felt so incredibly smooth and silky... Wow I actually have hair again! I did this last week and this week I colored my roots. My hair still feels great and I will do this treatment again in 14 weeks. This is worth the price ladies and it is a quick treatment. Call Halina's! Remember to ask for Erin and Kerasmooth!

Best Facial and Massage by Habiba!!!. If you're looking for World Class treatments, go and see Habiba Ziane. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional just amazing! I had many facials and massages around the country, believe she is excellent.

Years and years of good experiences. I've been coming to Halina's since 1984, several times a year; for the past few years, to the Round Rock Day Spa. In all of those times, I've only had one negative experience. It's quiet, relaxing atmosphere is part of the ambience. The staff is highly professional and welcoming, especially the manager Beth. Marina takes good care of my face and educates me at the same time. The prices are very affordable.
