Editorial Review for Ed's Cucaracha – by Ben Niekerk
In Short
Pierced punks park themselves next to psychedelic cowboys while moving and grooving to old Texas country, psycho-billy, Southern rock and jazz. The music mix is controlled by the bartenders, except for the occasional live show or Friday nights, when there's a DJ taking requests. The bar looks like an old saloon outside and a grade-A dive bar inside. Free pool and a shaded outdoor patio make for a slightly different Sixth Street watering hole.

We packed our bags and moved out back to the Jackalope's patio so all you bastards can smoke. Come see us in our new digs.
Pros: Still Alive!
Cons: Can't stay open all night long
