Awful Experience!. Horrible experience. I was in the store a good 5 min. before the Manager acknowledged me and I was the only customer in the store. Then when I asked for products to clean a purse, he never would come from behind the counter. Had me running all over the store while he gave me directions to different products. Never would commit to a specific product for my problem and then admitted he'd never used any of them! I asked about refurbishing the purse on my arm and he said it would be $30-50. He can't look at it and give me a more precise price than that?? Won't go back. The man is obviously lazy and doesn't like his job. Sorry I drove from Georgetown to Round Rock for it.
thanks austin shoe hosptial.
i received great service from roy at austin shoe hospital in RR both times i've come. last time, i had my heels repaired in a timely manner, and he also gave me a tip for using dyo to remove stains on some leather gloves i had. i went into today, to show him a botched up job i had done on my own shoes, by attempting to use shoe goo, and he suggested using concrete. he said he would gladly repair them if i wanted, however, i decided to make an another attempt on my own first. i found him very helpful, and he even allowed me to use his phone book, as i needed to find another destination's address/#. he was super helpful.
thanks again!
Great work, horrible customer service and very expensive. I dropped of pair of designer shoes off to have new soles put on and polished. The price was very high compared to places I've used when I lived out of state. They also tried to up-sell me on having the heels re-wrapped, which would have cost $90! Anyway, I went to pick up the shoes and there was a sign on the door saying that they were at lunch and would be back in 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and decided to make a phone call on my cell to pass the time. When the guy finally came back he refused to help me until I got off the phone. He had a passive aggressive attitude/tone and said "no, you seem very busy, I'll wait until you are off the phone". I put the phone aside and told him my name and that it was fine, and he said "no, you're on the phone, we'll just wait"! He was so rude. I would put his name out here if I thought I could, but they should seriously consider getting a new employee. This is after I waited for him to get lunch during regular business hours. The shoes actually looked really good, so the work is great, but the service is not and the prices are high. If there was another place in town, I would try it. In the meantime, I think I'll send my shoes out of state to be repaired.
