At the European-Bistro you will discover the finest prepared Old World cuisine dishes and pastries prepared by our Executive Chef Piroska right here in Pflugerville, Texas. Each time you dine at the European-Bistro, you are eligible to enter our Annual New Year's Eve Drawing to win a One Week Stay at our Condominium in Budapest for up to Four (4) Guests. The drawing will take place every year on December 31st, and your entry is valid for up to one (1) year. You do not have to be present to win. Travel arrangements and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. Transportation to and from the airport as well as guided tours, will be provided by our family. Sisters Anni Zovek and Piroska Althauser brought Hungarian food to the Austin area. Their grandmother cooked in a monastery in the Austro-Hungarian empire circa 1913, and most of their family recipes derive from that era. The large, old Main Street building features a spacious dining room with storefront windows, tin ceilings and several alcoves for privacy. Eastern European fare includes freshly made Russian beef pirogi (dumplings) and pork tenderloin schnitzel with a puffy bread coating.

For those who have not yet eaten at European Bistro, a great dining experience awaits you. The food is absolutely delicious, and that applies to every dish we've tried. We have been dining there for five years with no increase of price during that entire time.

This food is really really amazing. The Hungarian food here is fantastic, as agreed to by my Hungarian born and raised bf. They are super friendly, and made a wonderful atmosphere for my 20th B-day. Both my American family and my Hungarian bf love this place. I will be back many many times!

A hidden gem in the Pflugerville/Austin area! Nice atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. Great place to go for traditional German cuisine. The desserts are AMAZING (especially the apple strudel and the German chocolate cake)! Will definitely come back!
