I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about. 2.5 years ago an new in town I found dr Vanderstraton and the staff at LSD. A 2 time melanoma survivor I needed both 2 full body checks a year and to be see asap if I see anything different.

I always get an apointment in a very timely manner a day ot two maybe(though not the 1st time but ever since I've been an established patient)

I love Dr Vandersrtaton and feel totally comfortable with her and nurse. Nobody there has ever been less then completely friendly and profesional. I have no clue where these other reviews came from, but we're obviously not going to the same office. None of what the claim is true.

DO NOT waste your time here!!!. The office staff is RUDE! They won't even ask you if you want to see a Doctor or a Physician's Assistant- there is a big difference in my book. Also, they will just cancel your appt. out of the blue and not even try to get someone else to take it with your permission. Great doctor, BAD staff. The receptionist, Amber, should be fired.

Disappointed. Make sure you have all the free time in the world to go in for appointments if you would like a refill on your much needed prescription! I'm very disappointed that no one was willing to help me get my prescription refilled because I was unable to come in for an appointment right away. When someone has a skin condition that requires that you use your medication everyday, you would think that the doctor and his staff could be a little understanding and get your refill set and have you come in at a later date. I have to say that the doctors have always been nice, but the staff could stand to be a little more polite. By the way I did explain to them that my schedule was just too full for me to get in right away, but that I would fit them into my busy schedule so that they can "collect" on my visit.

It's sad that this is what we have to deal with as customers. I do understand the need for check ups and occasional visits, but when you know that all you need is a lotion to put on your face in order to keep it clear...uummm... I'm not so sure that you need me to come in all that often for that. Oh well... I'll just be looking for a new dermatologist.

To the doctors at this facility you might want to check your staff before you allow them to be the first person that your customers talk to...they are rude and pushy!
