Best Mon nite party EVER!!!!. We were visiting Austin for the 1st time so quite naturally we went to 6th st. passed this club & noticed this band, the mizzbehavin band WOW!!! There were maybe 10 people & This band was playing like it was a 1000!!! I've never seen a band having so much fun, the bar staff & the female was like a radio Station. The next thing I know The Club was packed like it was a Sat the band was tight, & the vocalist was telling a story, kinda remind me of old school music just don't see that kind of show anymore. The Bar staff was really nice bathrooms were clean seemed new. I only had 1 complaint I wished she had cds I would have bought them all and took them back home, I hope when I come back That band is there! I'm almost sure That lady will be a super star, Well at lease I had a chance to see her for free LOL Awesome Bar truly enjoyed ourselves!!!…
Puts the DIRTY in "Dirty 6th".
I am not at all please with the Dizzy Rooster. The service was slow, the drinks were weak, and the bartenders were so creepy. Definitely not a girls night place, unless you like getting ruthlessly
hit on by washed up and partially balding men.
The Dizzy Rooster could benefit from a sexual harassment seminar class. Seriously.
My friends and I couldn't have been there for more than 30 minutes because we could not take it. This is a HAS-BEEN bar featured on The Real World Austin almost a long time ago... They need some serious remodeling.
Oh and my brand new, nude Steve Maddens were torn up from the dirty run-down floor.
THERE ARE SO MANY GREAT BARS ON 6TH, Skip this one!!!!!!!…
Bartenders steal Blackberry Phones.
The dishonest bartenders stole my blackberry phone and tried to extort me for money. I had my phone and clutch sitting on the bar (stupid in retrospect) when I turned around to do a shot with
friends, my clutch was on the bar but my phone was missing.
They showed me my phone and demanded $100 from me. This was after throwing my boyfriend out of their bar on his birthday when he tried to inquire about my "missing" phone. I spent most of his birthday crying because I thought my phone with all of my important school and work information was gone forever.
Had to get the police involved. This is a very dishonest establishment. I will NEVER go again. Do not visit this establishment if you do not want your valuables stolen from you.…
Hahaa. I think 6th street made the real world..:) Every true party person knows of 6th street....Matter of fact I am fixing to move there.... Gotta love Austin!!!!
"Hat bar"... CHRISTMAS EVE HONESTY. I am sorry that the the other girl had a bad time Christmas Eve, but I was there and I believe the the story was streched to the point of dishonesty. There was a guy that kept harrassing a girl at the bar. Justin asked her if she was cool, she said she was for awhile. When it got to be too much Justin told him to get out. He should not have said it was for the "dog excuse", but maybe he didn't want that guy to know she had complained. The guy kept questioning why he had to leave, I believe Justin may have generically called him a f@g, the same as if he called him an @sshole, but he knew that guy was not gay, he kept bothering that girl. He was a little rough when he pulled him out, nothing considered violent. The police came, talked to Justin and left. He was never arrested. Justin has created an environment of the BMX, punkrock version of Cheers. A great place to get the party started off. I recommend taking a shot ski with your friends. an actual ski with 3 or 4 shots glesses in it. You all gotta go at once and you get one free!! :-)…
