Bait and Switch Alive and Well. Ah yes, the ole "bait and switch" is alive and well at Longhorn Limos! I find their description of their business laughable: "We at Longhorn Limos of Austin are here to provide the best in customer service to our clients...". Here's the deal--they donated five $75 gift cards as part of a package that was auctioned off at the Austin Fashion Week kick off party. A friend and I bought said package ($600, thank you very much). When I call to book the limo, they say, "Oh no, you can't use all five of the gift cards at once." Me: "But it doesn't say that on the coupons, nor do they have an expiration date" (just so ya know). Them: "The folks from Austin Fashion Week made up the coupons for us so it's their fault." Me: "So you didn't bother to check the coupons beforehand to make sure they were correct? Sounds like an issue for you to work out with those folks. But in the meantime, how will you honor these?" Them: "We won't. Goodbye!" and then hung up on me.

To all of you out there considering booking Longhorn Limos, STEP AWAY FROM THE PHONE/COMPUTER NOW!

Longhorn Limos. I had a wonderful night with Longhorn Limos, the driver was awesome to work with, very professional! I rented the limo for my birthday party, and night out on the town. My friends had a wonderful night, and the limo company made it a night to remember, for many years to come! I am sure I will be using them in the very near future!

Horrible Customer Service. Longhorn send out quotes, accepts them, takes your credit card information, sends a confirmation, then does not honor their commitments.

We were almost stuck without a limo for our wedding because Longhorn did not even bother to call us to tell us... we called them to change something a month later, and was THEN told. After explaining the circumstances, they would not do ANYTHING... and the mistake was THEIRS!

If we would not have called, we would have expected the limo to be there, and they had no intention on sending it. Thank goodness there are other reputable limo companies in Austin to choose from!

Austin Black Car Service 512-590-1986. I was told to write something nice about this company or I would be reprimanded but now that I don't work here any more I use Austin Black Car Service for all my transportation needs. So if Citysearch can take off my review please do so.
