Citysearch
In Short – This ladies-only boutique, named for its laid-back location, stocks all things hip and quirky. Fashion-forward denim stacked neatly by size lines the front of the shop, alongside shelves of artsy necklaces, bold watches and an enormous assortment of earrings. Colorful racks of the latest trends fill the remaining space, showcasing everything from lacy camisoles and feminine blouses to thick sweaters and comfortable tees. Heels, handbags and a handful of home accessories line the back wall.

We checked this veeery small boutique out based on its top ten review on Citysearch. First, what it is... It is a small store, with a small selection of "cute" items. What it is not... It is definately not a "top ten" boutique with a hip or trendy selection (which is the cornerstone of fashion IMHO.)
The editorial review in Citysearch needs to be redone. Honestly, the clothes and accessories they sell there are on the outer (lower) fringe of fashion. It is like someone said, "Oh, that would look cute on me or my friend, let's sell it." Not much more thought seems to have gone into their selection.
AND, that would be fine, BUT, it is without doubt overpriced. Soooo, to sum up... small selection of overpriced cutesy stuff. This place will appeal to a small segment, most likely the friends of the people who work there.
Another note: The other reviews mention great service. It was not evident all the while we were there! For example, the small brunette working was apparently more interested in her phone (texting?) than helping us.
- Pros: Austin Owned, Good location
- Cons: Service, Selection
Cute but not worth the prices
by KarenBeth
Though the clothing is very cute, the prices are outrageous, I'm a fashion junky but even I'm not willing to pay $65 for a poorly sewn tank dress. To give them credit they have some really good sales (I bought some silver eyeliner for $4.50 and a pair of black and white leg warmers for $3.50!), but everything that's priced without markdown is definately overpriced. I couldn't bring myself to even touch half the clothes without first lifting the tag for a look at the price. They run in the same circle as Strut, cute clothes, not always of the best quality, but I'd much rather go to Strut just because the prices are a little more reasonable.
- Pros: Fun atmosphere, cute clothes
- Cons: Parking, the store is a hassle to get to if you're coming from the north on lamar, way overpriced, not very attentive staff.
Great Selection
by lolanbob
A cold front blew into town and I had nothing to wear to my friend's wedding. I walked in the door and had an entire outfit, dresses, jacket, shoes, and jewelry. So easy! The girls are good, especially Lindy. I highly recommend going there for whatever you need.
- Pros: Lots to choose from, great customer service,
