My husband and I were visiting in Bastrop today. We stopped in for Sunday Brunch as recommended by our son-in-law. We were welcomed and seated by the owner. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and casual. We had a fantastic waitress who recommended the Tomato Florentine Soup, one of her personal favorites. We also had the warm Brie with Apples, Tortellini a la Crema and the Penne Rustica. We enjoyed every bite. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to family members.

Great family restaurant. We stopped by this restaurant because we saw the billboard stating "Best Italian in Bastrop". We had to wait a bit to be seated because they had to make arrangements for 5 people. Service was slower than we're used to, but the friendliness of the staff made up for it. The owner came to welcome us and made small talk about where we were from and the history of the restaurant!! The crawfish chowder was wonderful!! We were all happy with our entrees and desserts. We took half a gallon of chowder to-go and our family loves it as well. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and clean!! Would recommend to friends and family.
