Deposits?. Has anyone ever gotten their deposit back? Just curious before I rent from them what the deal is. Are they just slow or are they crooks?

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE-THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. I rented an RV from this establishment for the bike Rally in June and have yet to receive a refund for my $500 deposit. A day after picking up the rental, I saw online where two other persons had written to say they were having difficulty getting their deposits returned. This alarmed me; however the rental had already been picked up.

I contacted them in July to check on the timeframe for the refund and was told I needed to speak with Kerinda, the owner. During that call I was told that they were moving from Georgetown to Cedar Park and the offices were in a state of disarray due to the move. The person I spoke with, BJ, requested I give them adequate time to complete the relocation and then check back. I requested BJ ask Kerinda to return my call and have yet to receive any response.

I have left more than one message every week for the past month and still no reply. At this point I am wondering how they do business at all, when their business telephone is never answered by anything other than a machine. I will be sending a certified letter to this business and contacting an attorney in an effort to get my money back.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS, AS I AM CONFIDENT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE THE SAME NIGHTMARE.

No service. I have a rental unit in Recreational Rental's fleet. Do not ever do this. No return phone calls, late on payment and statements (if any), unit has been beat up and no service work performed to fix unit. Major loss on our part in our investment. Will probably have to make repairs ourself at our own expense. Their accreditation was revoked due to unresolved complaints. Not recommended.

Update Nov 08. Gave Kerinda sufficient 90 day notice while whole time she's telling us repairs are being made. Our camper was never locked up, it was moved to the CP location w/out them telling us and no repairs were every made. RV repair guy told her $2500 in damages and she said she wouldn't pay that. Basically nothing every done, after 90 days we picked up camer and still can't get in touch w/ Kerinda. Said she was mailing our final pymt and have not seen it. We are basically having to pay her repair guy to fix our camper when damages were done by her renters. We're having to eat the cost and we know we'll never see any money from her. I heard many people are looking for her: people she stole deposits from, bill collectors, etc. Run, do not walk, away from this business and Kerinda Bedell. (BJ in the ofc, knows nothing and tells people Kerinda will get back to them, just to get you off the line).

Not going to use them again.....ever!. It all started as soon as I turned up to pick up my RV that I had rented. Firstly, they took the deposit and the entire rental fee up front when I made the booking. I turned up and I was shown to the oldest looking RV on the lot and was wondering if it was actually going to make it out of the place before breaking down. Terrible experience and I will never use them again. I am still waiting for my deposit of $500 to be returned even though they keep telling me "the check is in the mail". They never answer the phone and you can never speak to Kerinda who is the owner or something (the person who takes care of the checks). I have checked the better business and their membership was revoked in October 2007 so check out their website. I also checked with the State of Texas Comptroller website and their tax account is not in good standing as of today. So, check out their website as well.

Basically, I will never use them again. There are plenty of other quality rental places around that I believe would give better service.

Bad business. We ordered a RV from them online. We paid for a RV with a slideout. We got there and we ended up getting a old beat up one with NO slideout. This thing was like 20 years old. Paid extra for that one with slideout and didnt get it. We had to take it because no one else had one and we were leaving that day. Well the following is a list of things that were wrong. A/C didnt work {give it gas and it would go off, let off the gas it came on, As you know you basicly push on the gas going down the road constantly, so we had no air about 99% of the time, we traveled 8 hours each way to destination} we burned up, told us to take a TV with us cause they didn't work, radio kept falling out of the dash into the dash backwards smashing stuff in the dash and smashing down onto my foot, step didnt work to get up and down into it, shook like crazy going down the road, barly enough gas to get to the first station when we left the rv place, wasn't washed, they said they had employee troubles, so far we have not gotten our deposit back! Over a month and a half since we rented it, can never get them on the phone and sent emails with no responce. We listed all that was wrong with it when we took it back, we were in a positition to where we had to take that piece of junk since there was no other one there to take and no one else had one to rent. You make plans thinking that people were going to give you what you ordered and paid in full for up front. I am not a nasty person I will retract this if we will get our deposit back. Thats all i want.
