Best in TX. This place is literally the best kept secret in Texas. No true Austinite is without the experience of this hole in the wall, down home barbecue joint. Forget County Line, Rudy's, Berts, and all the other high dollar advertising franchises, The advertising budget of this venue consists of a wooden sign that was likely less than $100 attached to their trailer (yes, i said trailer). The ambiance is excellent if you look for more in a barbecue experience than 40 full time employees screaming at each other simultaneously, and the food is true home cooking, which seems to be the Achilles heel of this place; when they run out of food, they call it a day and go fishin'.
kick a** BBQ. I really enjoyed this bbq, the best I have ever had. Not to smoky, not to peppery, not commercial, authentic and awesome.
