Nordstrom is a fantasy world for a particular kind of female shopper, and so it's only fitting that Cafe Bistro -- their in-department store restaurant -- has a menu for this demographic, full of fancy lady salads. The tasty Cilantro Lime Shrimp is hearty enough, and won't interfere later with those designer slacks you just bought.
best place for a shoe shine in austin.
Nordstroms has always been the best place for a shine for the last 8 years it has been in Austin, Texas.
Shoe shines are also always a low $2.50 per pair which is far better than the $10.00 or more per pair charged by competitors.
Nordstroms always uses top quality leather conditioner and the best waxes for shoes.
Best Customer Service. I bought a trench coat in the petites dept last year, while out in New Orleans, lost the belt. I took the coat to the petites section, Lauren, went all out, contacted the buyer, after much effort, found another belt and had it shipped to my home, no charge. I am so pleased, saved a very classy belted trench coat look. Now that's service!
elegant and smoothe~~~~. I had hoped that one day Austin would have the style and pizazz of the New York stores like a Macy's and a Sak's Fifth Avenue, then the ultimate came.... Nordstrom. I laughed at my own vanity and smiled that God loved me so much He gave thought to that dream. As busy as He is with this world, He still placed a Nordstrom right here. The store is awesome. The style is devine. The prices? well.... it''s Nordstrom, if I measured success by more than God's anointing power on my life, it'd be strutting into Nordstrom and not caring about price. The clothes have that quality that you just "Wu saa!" for Beathlessness. It's the store for me that makes a debate for the question... do I eat next week or have I already had enough food and can stand to fast for a time and buy that.... blouse or jacket or shoe or boot or .... just thinking about make me want to drive to Barton Creek now. Check it out!!!! It truly has the scent of blessed and the style of success~
Legendary service, shoes to die for and fashion-forward merchandise keep shoppers returning..
In Short
Founded as a Seattle shoe store in 1901, this popular chain is now known for manageably priced designer duds. Shoppers find a hint of sophistication in the store's white floors and pianists on baby grands. Unique departments include the Brass Plum juniors' section with Ruby Rox and Diesel, and Studio 121 for career-savvy women. A business-centric men's clothing department offers Ben Sherman suits, while relaxed styles from Marc Jacobs and Lacoste are in The Rail department.
Some Good-Some Not So.
If your lucky you'll get a staff person that is ready to serve. More often you will be ignored. On several visits in the mens department the staff was consumed with talking to friends that had come in to fill the void or talking with other sales. They must have been bored.
