Injured by Beautician -- DO NOT GO HERE. Worst experience of my life. I got eyelash extensions from Mira at the Barton Creek location. She was talking to the other beautician the whole time and kept jabbing me in the eye. She applied the glue directly to my skin and had multiple eyelashes glued together. It was crunchy and in clumps and it hurt like hell.

The next morning when I woke up, my right eye was blood red. On my left eye, I had a scab above the eyelashes where the glue had pulled some of my skin off, along with three or four of my natural lashes. I went to the eye doctor to get it checked out and discovered that I had a CORNEAL ABRASION from where she carelessly poked my eye. I'm now taking prescription antibiotic eye drops so that I don't end up with CONJUNCTIVITIS, in case her instruments weren't sterile.

I called twice and left a message but nobody got back to me. I finally got an answer and was told to come in so they could inspect my eyelashes. I went to the salon Mira told me that it wasn't her fault, and that someone else must have pulled my eyelashes out. (Um, what?) When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that they were out of town and could not be reached for another month. It was only when I threatened a civil lawsuit that she picked up the phone and called... and when she got off the phone, she told me that she didn't know how to give a refund. Are you serious?!

I've done eyebrows here before and that was fine, but after this experience, I will absolutely not be going back.

Good eyebrow place. I went unti Taras for an eyebrow threading. I was in and out in 15 minutes, which I appreciated. The stylist hardly spoke to me, which I was fine with. She did a great job on my brows, was quick and efficient. If you are looking for a fancy salon experience with perks and special care, I am not sure Taras is the place for you. But if you want good, quick service with a quality result, I recommend their threading. Price was $20 without tip, a little high in my opinion

Xtreme Lashes. Lashes at Barton Creek are only $99 and even Tara's $200 is very reasonable for Extension that can last up to 2 months.

Great Salon. I just got my eyebrows done and they look great. The place is clean and calming, a very relaxing environment. And the staff is very welcoming. a great place to go for all services.

Great Experience!. I decided to try getting my eyebrows threaded at Tara's this time. I was a little worried trying out a new place but I soon got over it. The salon had a very clean and appealing enviornment. I got my eyebrows shaped and the looked stunning! It was well worth the money. I highly recommend this salon to all women in the greater Austin area!

BEST SALON IN TEXAS! MUST GO TO!. The way that she does eyebrows is so unique. Its hard to find a good cosmetologist and I'm glad i came acrossTara and her staff. Tara also has so many waxing services, I always trust her to make my expereince quick and pain easy. Tara and her staff are so professional and the things they use to beautify your face are also professional. The best part is that Tara's service is inexpensive for a salon full of professionals. The locations that Tara has chosen to build her salons are so convienient. No one can match there service. If you are in Austin this is a MUST go place if you don't go you are mising out, not to mention that Tara and her staff is coming out with AIR BRUSH tattoos soon which is a major plus I heard the starting price for that is seven dollars!

inconsistent in quality. I've been here several times over the years only because I haven't found anything better yet (eyebrow threading and braz. waxing). What I realized is that everytime I go in especially for my eyebrows, it always with no fail come out different. Luckily I am not picky at all and just having cleaner eyebrows will make my day....until da dum! One of tara's associates (dooo try to get tara herself) gave me uneven eyebrows. It was horrible. But otherwise, not a bad place.

Amazing Permanent Make-up. I always was troubled daily with applying eyeliner every morning. It was time consuming and I am a perfectionist. My dilemma was solved with a quick and easy solution. I went to Tara's Salon and spa at Barton Mall and they were able to place permanent eyeliner on my face. So far it has last me a couple of days and it won?t come off in the shower.

Best Brazilian. For valentines day I wanted to do something special for my husband. So I went to Tara's Salon to get a brazilian. I trusted her with my previous eyebrow waxes so I deceided to go big this time around...the wax was quick and lasted a long time. My husband loved it and I would go back again, possibly in time for summer!!

Great Experience. I recently choose to get an eyebrow threading for the first time and I went to the right place! At Tara's the employees are friendly and really know how to thread. The service was painless and afterwards I received a message on my eyebrows.
