Lo mejor en el Barrio!. No, it's not what I usually look for or hope for in any given neighborhood; I have to admit, I'm kind of "old school"; and tend to either wear my hair long or opt for the old fashioned 'barber shop' haircut - where you shoot the breeze with the old timers, pick up a 'men's magazine' and wait your turn. Those days are gone and although those ol' Barber Shops can still be found, they're few and far between - in the abscence of a good ol' fashioned Barber Shop though I have to say; this will do fine in the interim - it seems to be geared toward an Hispanic family clientele, but they always make me feel welcome.

A pretty Spanish-speaking lady cut my hair today, and despite my poor Spanish she gave me exactly the cut I wanted. My hair had about six or seven months of growth, so it was "long" when I went in, I pointed to a picture on the wall of a haircut that was close enough to what I wanted. I'm probably not the most picky customer, but I must say I'm very happy with my hair cut today; I might not consider it the best I've ever been to; and when I'm able to drive somewhere else I might go to another place, but I am very glad it is here in the neighborhood for me, I would recommend this place to anyone and it's a place for the whole familia! They do cuts and fades too, something I have been thinking of trying - maybe next time.
