Fantastic Werkshop. Having an auto accident is a stressful event. Chris at Black Forest Werkshop was very helpful in getting my BMW back in shape. They told me on the day of the accident that they would do everything for ME; that is exactly what they did! They made sure that I got original BMW parts for my car. Every week Chris would call me with an update of their progress. They patiently requested everything to repair my car from the insurance company. When I received my BMW back, it looks like new and performs the same.

I highly recommend Black Forest Werkshop for all your BMW repairs.

Always Honest. I have been a loyal costumer of Black Forest for the past 13 years. Lee Rector has always been the most knowledgeable, honest, and reliable BMW mechanic in town. His staff is professional, caring, and always willing to go the extra mile. Lee has met me after hours and on weekends just to make sure I'm a satisfied customer. If you have questions don't be afraid to ask him what he is talking about. He'll be more than willing to take you out in the shop to actually show you what the problem is.

His wife owns a Pilates studio from the shop. I know it is kind of bizarre, however, you might as well get a workout in while you're getting your oil changed. She'll whip you into shape in no time!

The place is clean, thanks to his wife! There are always refreshments and snacks.

Not sure about the hot pink and purple leather couches but hey, they're mechanics not interior designers!

Great place to get your BMW or MINI Cooper service!. The fine folks of Austin (and some from far far away) have come to the Black Forest Werkshop since 1985 (25 years) for good honest work expecting to pay a fair price and that's what they get. I am Lee Rector, the owner and president of the Black Forest Werkshop. The employee's at the Black Forest Werkshop know that folks come to us only because they feel we are the best place in town to take their BMW or MINI cooper to. We do our very best to reward them with fulfilling those expectations. If anyone ever feels otherwise I personally invite them to let me, the owner and president of this company know and I'll do everything possible to resolve any situation that may arise. That is an offer that you'll never get from BMW of North America. They never ask us how to design the cars so we just fix em. If they were perfect in the first place they would never break so we can only work with what we have and at least a BMW or MINI Cooper is darn well worth it. You have a friend in Austin Texas that is a BMW and MINI mechanic. That's us, the Black Forest Werkshop.
