Honest Abe Experience. Best Experience I've had in a Loooong Time with a car shop. These guys are Honest And Fair with their pricing and same day service is impressive. I called the Dealer and was told it would be A Day or So before they could get to me. I called Ben White and was told to come in right away, and was pleased to know I could get it back the same day. Great Service and Great Attitudes.

Ben White Auto North ROCKS!!!. Wow, what a relief. I am new to Austin and did not know where to take my car for repairs so I did some research.... I am glad I did and even more so, very happy I took it to these guys! I am familiar enough with auto repair not to get ripped off, gladly; this was the least of my concern. I was treated fairly in regards to price. The service and satisfaction is bar none, the best I have received from an auto repair shop. Great job guys!!!

Ben White Automotive North. I had a great experience with Ben White Auto. When the power steering pump died on my Corolla, the guys at Ben White promptly diagnosed the problem and outlined what needed to be fixed. They had me back up and running by the end of the day.

Ben White Automotive. When the dealership is taking 2 or 3 days to do normal maintenance, I started looking elsewhere. Ben White Automotive is very convenient and on my 2nd visit, I noticed Mike behind the counter. I have know Mike for over 12 years back when he was at Midas on Guadalupe!

He's honest and straight talking. For example, the Caravan's front brake disk had complaints of squeaks so Dodge put a disk with a softer metal. The squeaks went away, but the disk had to be replaced at 30,000 mi, vrs 100,000 mi. Mike suggested putting a disk with harder metal. The repairs are in line with the dealership but with cheaper prices.

Great Service and Convenient Location. With my car long-overdue for maintenance, I researched and decided on Ben White North. The staff at Ben White were friendly, professional and well-ready to answer any questions about the potential repairs needed, the importance of said repairs and the potential consequences of not getting certain maintenance done. The bill was fair and the car is now running like new. Ben White North is a location you can trust with your car.

Convenient to Pavilion Park Ride. Ben White Auto is just north of the Pavilion Park and Ride bus stop for Capital Metro; what a convenient place to leave your car, catch the bus, and pick it up at the end of the day!

Excellent Service. I called with a dead battery and they came to get me and ordered my battery and got me back to work very fast. They were nice, friendly, fast, and got me back on the road!!

Fast, reliable service. While any A/C repair is costly, they were able to replace it quickly and for a reasonable price, as compared to other repair shops. They even were able to show me what caused the A/C to go out, and gave me options for the type of repair.

Friendly, smart, and quick. I always feel welcome, there's never a wait.

Why I went: Brake light went on; brakes were vibrating. We first took the car into Firestone who normally does a great job and we still use them. We told them the brake fluid was also a little low. They looked at the car and told us that the brakes were fine, fluid was fine, and the light could be a faulty sensor in the master cylinder but they didn't do that kind of work.

We weren't about to just say okay to the permanently ON brake warning light, so we grudgingly took it into Nissan. We've had horrible issues with dealers in the past, mostly that if their computer doesn't say anything's wrong, they won't try to find the problem.- Lazy and overpriced. Nissan said the master cylinder needed replacement and it would cost $600 + $100 diagnostic fee. Um, that seems a little pricey to replace a $100 part?

So I did some research and found Ben White, a little gem that happened to be super close! They said nothing was wrong with the brakes and simply topped off the brake fluid, which got rid of the warning light.

I've taken our cars in twice since, and am happy with their being vigilant about what other issues there are about the cars and the price tag at the end! Plus, I love that friendly guy with the fluffy beard.

Review for Ben White Automotive North and Gary. I took my car to another mechanic shop in town and my Saturn was kept in their garage all day only to be told at 4 PM, when I called them, to pick it up if I wanted because they were not able to get to it.

I took the weekend to research other garages and also called the BBB on Monday to ask about Ben White Automotive North. Good reviews when I researched them.

I took it in and they were able to look at my car and fixed the problem with no hassles. Gary was very helpful and was able to educate me on the service.

I have told all my friends about them and I am so glad I have found a home for my Saturn.
