There is no Texas drivers license office at 1500 S. Congress, it's 1500 N. Congress. The real office is at the corner of 15th and Congress just north of the capitol and it is easy to use with few lines. The south Austin drivers license office is at 4719 S. Congress, a long way from 1500. If you don't believe it, check the official state of Texas DPS site.

I was dreading the ordeal of changing my address but it took less than 5 minutes and I found the office so easily. I figured I would have to wait at least 3 weeks to get my liscense but I have a feeling it won't take that long.
