Bad experience at the Rise School. We had our child at the Rise School for 2.5 years. The first 2 years were a great experience. Abruptly, partway through the third year we were ambushed with a sudden dismissal. Although they are a school supposedly for special needs children they kicked out our special needs child for being too much work. I believe they are only looking to serve children who are naturally compliant and easy. They do not want to work too hard to serve children who really need help. The staff and director were not honest with us and acted in an unprofessional way toward our child. Parents be warned!

OUR RISE SCHOOL. Our special needs granddaughter and typical grandson attend The Rise School. In my opinion, they are much further advanced than they would have been attending any other school. We live out of town and occassionaly visit, however, the staff always recognize us and treat us as if they see us daily. They all seem to have a passion for their work, which is exemplified by the unbelievable advancement of the kids there. It's not just our grandkid's school, it's ours too, as we have learned much from this dedicated staff. The caring teachers and resources this school have provided really lessens the stress on our daughter and son-in-law. I almost regret thinking our grandkids will have to leave this school someday!

Editorial Review. Since 2003 offers early childhood programs, education and child care for children with special needs and disabilities to develop.

Loving and Supportive Environment. My child has benefitted not only from the low ratio and the Master degreed teachers but also he is learning to be a leader by helping the special needs children in the class. He is also learning that no matter what our abilities we are more alike than different. His compassion and understanding is far above his 3 years.

Great Staff, Wonderful Program. My husband and I really appreciate the environment that you have created at The Rise and the way you have worked with us as an individual family whenever there has been a concern. You have instilled in our children a love of learning in a safe, caring environment that they are sure to remember whatever path they choose to follow.

We Love The Rise!. My daughter's growth and development have been through the roof! We believe this has a lot to do with The Rise and its program. It has been a great experience for both my daughter and myself. Thank you. Thanks you.

Exemplary Program. The Rise School fills a need for Central Texas' children with disabilities and is an exemplary program. I have observed the teachers to all have a true love for the children and their jobs.

Wonderful Program. The Rise School of Austin has one of the best early childhood programs I have ever seen. The staff is wonderful and have always answered all my questions. Such a great environment with such a talented team of people!
