Geez this place is always busy! Awesome fajitas, homemade tortillas (flour), deluxe tomatillo sauce, and don't miss the Tres Leches cake!!

Creamy jalape�±o dip and. Creamy jalapeño dip and margaritas...... No one does it better! It's always busy but it's totally worth it.

NEW MEXICO-STYLE RELLENOS RIGHT HERE IN AUSTIN. The one thing that Chuy's has that sets it apart from all other Tex-Mex joints is their Hatch green chile and their Hatch/Anaheim-style chile rellenos. You can get these anywhere in New Mexico, but you can't get them in Austin unless you go to Chuy's. I used to live in Santa Fe, and one thing I really miss from there is chile rellenos made with Anaheim-style, not Poblano-style, peppers. Chile rellenos at Chuy's are not so different from what they serve at Tomasita's on Guadalupe Street in Santa Fe, and it saves me a 700-mile drive. (I discovered Tomasita's in 1977 when it was on Hickox Street in the barrio in Santa Fe, and their green chile is the real deal.)

Oh, and I almost forgot: service at Chuy's is always the 'A' team. Chuy's should only train every waitstaff in Austin--they NEVER drop the ball. Well, hardly ever!

THe Chuy's special rocks. Great local Austin restaurant. I have been going for 6 years never anything but great
