MUST TRY - Amazing food and service. My family and I went to Fujiyama for a fun night out. We had a blast. The owner is extremely nice and the chefs were awesome. We had the shrimp, steak, and chicken. All of them were perfect. My husband had some of the Japanese beer and said it was the best beer he had ever tried. We ended the meal with the Japanese ice cream, which again, was amazing! We will be returning soon.

Awesome Beef Tataki - Need I say more?. This review is long overdue! My husband and I have been going to Fujiyama for over five years now- we absolutely love this place! It is reasonably priced and always wonderful. It is our first choice whenever we go out to eat; we trust it when we are looking to have an entertaining and delicious meal with out-of-town guests, friends or family. We have never been disappointed- everyone we've taken there loves it.

The staff there is great- they always remember us- especially Kon and Jenn. Their beef tataki is always tender, the dipping sauce is just right- if you've never had it, you gotta try it! We've NEVER had a piece of sushi or a roll we didn't like- whether it's escolar or fatty tuna- it is always good.

Their hibachi chefs are always great fun and the food is always cooked right- the Chateaubriand is my favorite, but my hubby usually gets the Samurai Steak- and they give you plenty of food- you'll not leave here hungry.

Low Quality Meal, High Prices. I ordered Hibachi, but the plate tasted no where near like Japanese food. The sauces did not complement each other at all. The Mexicans that cooked my plate were really nice and friendly, but I guess they had to be to compensate for their inexperience. I truly don't think they were properly trained to cook Teppanyaki style. I think it was also over priced ($25.00). The meal is pretty small portion only coming with ice-berg salad, and small bowl of white rice add fifty cents if you want them to add soy sauce to it and charge as Fried Rice. The service was understaffed too. Only one waitress and the owner doing minor assistance.

Delicious food, friendly staff, very comfortable!. I have been a regular at Fujiyama for a while now, and this is because I have had an outstanding experience everytime. The owner is especially nice and accomodating, and every chef has prepared my food perfectly and deliciously, not to mention brought some fun to the grill! I have tried hibachi style meals at many restaurants in town, but this is my favorite. The restaurant has a simple but comfy, cozy feel, and I always feel welcome. The meals are so satisfying, not over-buttered, or oiled, and the amount of food prepared is just right! It does not bother me if the chefs are not Japanese, nor the Sushi preparers, they are kind folks, who take care of their customers, and prepare delicious food.

HORRIBLE, WORST PLACE EVER. Don't go !. I am not sure how they stay in business. Their sushi is the worst ever. Their grill is disgusting and the food's not fresh. The service was awful. Don't trust their sign where they say they will give you free drinks for lunch. They did not honor that the last time I went, instead, they made up some lame excuse about how they cannot give us the free drinks. Those people are liars!!

Nowhere Near Authentic Japanese Cuisine. The hot plate meals such has the hibachi and yakisoba are cooked my Mexican cooks and the sushi are prepared by Vietnamese. Nowhere near authenticity. You can honestly taste the difference. If I pay $25.00 a dish I expect more.

Fun Japanese dining perfect for a family night out.. In Short
Fujiyama, located in the quietest corner of a bustling strip center, serves up traditional Japanese cuisine. Customers take a seat around large teppans, or iron grills, where experienced chefs put on a fascinating cooking demonstration. Tempura, yakisoba noodles and sushi are popular choices, as are the hibachi dishes, most of which include soup, salad, rice and more. Choose from 14 different domestic and import beers or from the extensive, descriptive sake and wine list.
