Doesn't Recommend

Avoid using this. This is the first time I've taken time to review but feel like I might help others with this information.

I understand that florists will make subsitutions when particular flowers are not available but I also understand that whatever they choose artistically should still uphold the quality image of what is portrayed on the teleflora website in which they are affiliated.



The items this order was missing was the following:



There were no miniture carnations (but 4 regular sized ones) there were no button spray chrysanthemums, no Queen Anne's lace, there were no silver ornament(s ) (but instead one cheap looking ornament) there were no snowflakes but instead a plastic Merry Christmas sign that looked like it belonged on a pre-made grocery store cupcake. There were instead daisies that were green in the middle that I wouldn't buy even if on sale at the grocery. The lilies were not white but instead a peach color that clashed with the rest of the flowers. The entire arrangement appeared to have been thrown together and several of the green fillers looked like it has been wadded up.

To top the entire experience off, the owner Kim was defensive and snapped at me when I asked her if she could help make the arrangement more like what it was supposed to look like. She her quick resolve was to tell me that she would pick up the flowers that she never ended up picking up.

Please avoid this florist, unprofessional and not very artistic.

Flowers cared for, for the ones you care for.. I'm not accustomed to buying flowers, but when I do, I want to make sure that they are of good quality. I've bought flowers from grocery stores and they do an ok job. But just as with any gift, what you give shows who you are. When I was recommened to Jenny at Calla Florist, I found her to be very pleasing, knowledgeable, and talented. I could definitely tell that she puts a lot of care and time into her work and flowers. I received a very attractive arrangement for a very reasonable price. I can definitely say that I will have Jenny as my regular florist from now on and will always recommend her to anyone looking for a good florist.

Neat Shop!. Different choices and very nice shop. The arrangement the florist made was definitely unique and my gf loved it!

They'll get anything for you.... I was amazed when they prepared my order so quickly. I was looking for something different and called around different places, but can't seem to find what I want. When I called this shop, they did not have it, but told me they'll have it for me in an hour. By the time I went to the shop to pick-up the flowers, it was there. Wow!

Best Decision We Made!. Working with Calla Florist & Custom Frames was one of the best decisions we made when we were planning our wedding. They were so professional and always happy to see us come through their door. Throughout the detailed process of wedding planning, I always knew I could call and depend on them to help me with decisions and changes. It was amazing and I still have guests raving about how the creative and elegant floral arrangements added the perfect touch!!

Wedding Day Bliss. I had met with a few different florists around the Austin area. I went to my consultation with Calla Florist, and from the very start- Jenny was helpful, and courteous, in making suggestions. She did an absolutely beautiful job on my wedding arrangements, as well as being affordable. I have recommended her to all of my friends already.

Great customer service with speed!!!. I was in a rush to get something for my girlfriend for her birthday. I called in 15 minutes before and requested a dozen roses arranged. When I got there I was amazed at the way the roses were arranged in only a matter of minutes. My girlfriend loved the flowers, and calla saved my behind for procrastinating my girlfriends birthday flowers. Thanks again Calla!

Unique & Beautiful design!. I placed an order for my friend and wanted something different. I talked on the phone with them and they recommended me some choices... and I choosed the modern design. My friend was speechless when she got it. Her co-workers were all ahhh...bye the arrangement. Thank you!
