Although the location did not look the same as in the Video (no candles, no artfully painted walls, no palm tree ambience as the camera shows), the booking included a confirmation call from the stylist. Christiana was cheerful, accommodating and at ease. The appointment provided flexibility to craft the cut, and Christiana was both patient and willing to take on ideas to create a cut that was tailored and worked. And to get this service and cut for the price paid was just the result I wanted: A great value for a quality, tailored cut and personable experience. Thank you.

Cons: Salon not as clean and inviting as it could be (and atmosphere not as depicted)

I would highly recommend Island Salon and Spa...Paulla is the manicurist there and she is not only thorough in her work...but has a good sense of humor...I love her attention to detail and her cleanliness, which was a huge plus for me...It was well worth paying a little extra for a superior service...won't find that at many salons in town...THANKS, PAULLA!!! I will definitely be back...glad to find you!
