I went to Skye b/c of a Groupon I purchased out of frustration of not finding a person for 10+ years who would cut my hair the way I wanted it consistently. I know I am super particular and can be difficult to please but that is why I don't go to Supercuts. When I am paying as much as $200+ every 6 weeks to get my hair cut and colored I expect it to be done to my satisfaction. I am extremely busy and don't have time to get it redone, which is what I was having to do a lot. I have been going to the same hair colorist for over 10 years and she does amazing work, but unfortunately doesn't cut hair. The person I spoke w/ on the phone at Skye set me up w/ Amber. When I went in for my appt I was very up front w/ her about my past experiences. There is no better way to describe her tham She was AMAZING! The color was beautiful and exactly what I asked for and her cut far exceeded anyone else I've had cut my hair. She has stolen my color business and gained my haircut business as well. I live in S. Austin and drive all the way to Cedar Park to the salon b/c she is worth every bit of the drive. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Amber, she nows what she is doing and frankly could beat anyone of the high end snooty salon hairstylists in Austin and could charge way more for her services!

I've been going to Skye Salon for several months to Calli Stokes, she is amazing!!! She does the BEST hi-lights and low-lights I have experienced thus far and that says a great deal because I am 28 years-old and have been artificially blonde with some brown for accentuation since I was 14. If you want great color services: go visit Calli!!!

****UPDATE**** Had a followup. Monta (the owner called) and was very apologetic. She set me up with Amber. I was there ALL DAY for the correction. Amber was incredibly pleasant & careful to not damage my hair. I really enjoyed spending the day talking to her and I am SUPER HAPPY with the job she did. I would happily recommend her to anyone.

Not a great experience with Cali. We started with 30mins of her arguing my color choice and then another 20mins at the end about my hair cut, she did what she wanted ayways. I wanted a cranberry color, I had for 2yrs in the past. I KNEW "I would like it and that it would work".....but still didn't get what I asked for. She wasn't very talkative (or wasn't interested in a conversation with me) ~ which made for a long 3hrs. I've tried to call to see if things could be fixed, there has been no response. After growing my hair for 4yrs to donate, I'm really disappointed.

I got my hair cut last Saturday by Cali. First of all she squeezed me into her busy schedule because she knew how bad I needed it that day. Also she did an AMAZING JOB it looks soooo healthy and it's way hotter than my last cut! I was sad that she did have to cut so much off; HOWEVER that was my fault for only getting my hair trimmed once every 7 months! She set me up with some great products and when my boyfriend came home from work he could not stop talking about how much he loved my new cut and how sexy it made me look! Which thanks to her I got an amazing date night with him ;-) I couldn't be happier with her and I will be seeing her for a trim every four weeks! (Also the price didn't break the bank for someone ballin on a budget)

Just had a great experience at Skye Salon. Cali did a fabulous cut and color....very friendly, positive and great suggestions! I've seen Cali a few times now.... I highly recommend her and the lovely salon!

I went there this week for the first time. Got a cute, short haircut for the summer. Cali did a great job. She was really nice and personable. I loved the boutique feel and the glass of wine they offered with my cut. Will definitely be going back.

Victoria is the best!. I've seen Victoria for the past 5 years, I know she's been at this salon for 7 years! I was referred to her by a coworker and haven't tried anyone since! I get my hair highlighted and cut and always leave Victoria feeling amazing! She always listens to what I want and I respect the fact that she is super concervative with her cuts! I recommend her to everyone wanting a fantastic highlight and haircut!!!

Victoria. Victoria is the best hair colorist/stylist I've ever had. Unlike all others, she understands my hair and treats it with the utmost care. I have never walked away unhappy and if you give her a try, you will always be thrilled with your hair. When I move to Houston, I will probably drive back to Austin just so she can do my hair.
