Twenty-something patrons have options: mingle at the bar, occupy a sofa, or keep drinks chilled and marvel with friends at the icy, luminescent counter. Floor-to-ceiling blue-tinged art representing Russian culture makes for creative, handsome room dividers. Several beers are served, but vodka, of course, is popular.

I WAS A LITTLE WORRIED WHEN THE NEW OWNERS TOOK OVER BUT THEY ARE SUPER NICE GUYS. THE SERVICE IS STILL GREAT AS ALWAYS, THANKS TO CADE, LISA, GINGER AND ZACH!! THEY MAKE GREAT DRINKS, GREAT SHOTS AND ALWAYS HAVE GOOD COLD BREWSKIES! I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Unlike a lot of places on 6th street, that's not far away, there's no cover. There's an outdoor patio that gets jumping after eleven and your close to the street.

Molotov is bar far my favorite bar to go to when out-of-town friends are visiting Austin. It?s located on West Sixth and the rooftop is the perfect place to grab a drink, a table and have a great time. I like it here so much because you can actually sit with friends and hear what they are saying. By no means should you take this as Molotov being dull, it?s the opposite. If you?re looking for the perfect balance between music, people and conversation, Molotov Lounge is where it?s at. The bartenders are also some of the best in town as well!
