Great Service & Great Hair!. I have been going to KK for 3 years this October 2011. Sarah has been the best hairstylist and colorist I have ever had. The entire staff is wonderful, professional and educated on a continuous basis per Kris. The way that Keith and Kris run their business and salon is absolutely wonderful. They have the right mix of comfortable atmosphere and professionalism. I highly recommend them if you are searching for a new stylist. You will NOT be disappointed!

Never had a better eyebrow wax.
I can not believe how good a job Amber did with my eyebrows. I have blonde eyebrows and they tend to get messy but I have always been afraid to wax because most places take half my eyebrow off!
Amber shaped them better than I have ever had them in my life and I am 22. I left feeling so pretty with a new shape.
Honestly, I am one of those people that does not believe online reviews but let me tell you- Amber can be trusted with anyone.

Amber is amazing!. I've been getting my eyebrows waxed since I was 17, so I've been to my share of salons. I'm now 35 and have been going to Amber for 3 years. I can honestly say she truly has a talent. She is able to find the perfect eyebrow shape for your face-shape, which, from what I've experienced, is not so easy. She now has a client for life, and I would recommend her to anyone!

A little pricey... but you get what you pay for people!!!. So I found this salon online years ago after my stylist decided he wanted to quit the business. I have to say I absolutely love this place! I drive an hour to get there because the quality of hairstylists is above and beyond anything I've ever experienced anywhere else. Once I drove out for an appointment and my stylist at the time was sick and couldn't do my hair. The owner of the salon said the next appointment was on him. Sure enough, the next time I came in I went to pay for my service which was well over $250.00 and the awesome front desk girl Autumn said "No Charge". Okay girls... anyone knows that's about the best thing to hear ever! Now Deanne does me and my daughter's hair and we absolutely LOVE her! She recently gave me a whole new 'do for the New Year and I've received nothing but compliments. Even after I had a mini meltdown 'cause I couldn't style it, she squeezed me in and gave me another lesson so I could make it look as great as she did! Thanks Keith Kristofer's for providing such a great service and thanks Deanne for makin' me and my little one feel absolutely beautiful!

Personalized Service. My husband and I have been going to this salon for awhile. We followed Jacque there for manicure services from another salon and started using Deanne for hair cuts and Amber for facials. We've been very happy and have continued to go there although we moved to San Antonio in '09. Oh, and I can't submit a review without saying how awesome Autumn and Sasha are, who handle appointments and cover the front desk!

AWFUL !!!!.
Went in for a hair cut, nothing difficult, just some layers. This is one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. It can't be fixed, I have to grow it out. DO NOT GO TO KEITH KRISTOFER SALON.
In order for me to leave rating, I had to leave one star.

We are very disappointed you are not happy. All of our clients get a follow up call and a survey via e-mail , but you didn't let us know you weren't happy, so we have not been able to determine who you are. This is unusual because when a customer is unhappy, every one of our staff knows about it and we work to make it better. An unhappy customer is a HUGE deal, usually prompting one of the business owners to get involved. You say you got "just some layers" which leads us to believe that the cut may have been a long layered cut? If that's the case, there may be a lot that can be done to it so that you like it better. A long layered cut is not a particularly difficult cut to do and any of our stylists should have been able to execute it easily. We would very much like to look at the cut you are so unhappy with and possibly re-cut it, or provide you with a refund if you prefer. Please contact us at 233-1910 so we can address the situation.

I drive four hours for Larin and Amber.
The first time I found this salon Larin cut and colored my hair and Amber found the perfect eyebrow somewhere on my face, but since I was in town on a business trip, I thought I was just lucky. When I returned to the Dallas area, I kept getting compliments. I mean LOTS of compliments. I went back to my former stylist as she was local. It took three months to grow out that cut and color, and I made my next appointment four hours away. I've continued to return (driving eight hours in a day...yes just for hair and eyebrows) for nearly a year. Larin and I discuss my hair. Really discuss my hair until we are both satisfied that we know what I want. And Amber and her amazing eyebrow ability? Magical.
I hesitate to let anyone know how great this salon is only because I need that appointment! You will receive COMPLIMENTS. Seriously.

Fantastic. I was in Austin for a meeting and wanted somewhere to get my hair colored and cut. Based on other reviews, I made an appointment at Keith Kristofer with Freddy. He was fantastic! Not only were my color and cut done just perfectly, but what impressed me the most was that since I was in town on business, and live in Wisconsin, it is likely that I will not be a repeat customer. I was worried ahead of time that whoever did my hair might not be quite as careful with me as they would be with a 'regular' but I needn't have worried! He was friendly, personable, and did the best job imaginable. I just wish that I didn't live so far away and that I could be a regular customer! Thank you!

Excellent salon. I had been going to a very high end salon in Austin for about 9 years. It was time for a change as my hair was not looking its best (stylist just wasn't paying attention anymore, I suspect). So i found the reviews of KK online and tried it. I'm hooked now. Carrie did my color and Emily the haircut. The color is better than my previous color, more depth to the highlights. Carrie did a good call on that one! She was exceedingly professional and I am very pleased. Emily's haircut was one of the best I've ever had. She told me how to blow it dry on my own and her tips were right on! My hair actually looks good now, even when I style it. That's a first for me. Finally!!!! Great salon, check it out.
