Balked at used vehicle repair that was guaranteed in writing.
.I bought a used vehicle from Georgetown Volvo on IH35 in Georgetown Texas. The vehicle had an obvious 1 inch crack in the windshield and I told them it would probably require windshield replacement
to fix. (You think they would know that.) Before signing the contracts, they provided a form saying they would fix the “star” in the windshield within 30 days. My mistake for signing before the repair.
They sent a mobile repair guy to look at the windshield. He said a repair had already been attempted, finding the drill hole but seeing that the cracks were still not filled in. He said he could not do work over the first repair attempt.
The salesman and manager responded by saying the windshield was “fixed” and that they would not replace the windshield but would try to get me a “wholesale” cost if I wanted to pay for it myself (!). I took the vehicle to a reputable nation wide glass repair shop, who said the attempted repair provided very marginal improvement if any. They also said they could not work over the botched repair without destroying the windshield. They said the only option was windshield replacement. So basically I had a signed document from Georgetown Volvo saying they would fix the windshield, but now they refused to honor it.
I had a follow on discussion with the sales manager, who still denied that a replacement was necessary. I sent him the quote from the other glass place. After 2 more days of no response, I drove the vehicle back to the dealership and dared them to tell me that the windshield crack was "fixed." They finally relented and paid to have a local glass shop replace the windshield.
Net rating of 2 stars for having to fight them over what should have been done in the first place.…
Worst service EVER!. My family and I went to Roger Beasley Volvo in Georgetown to look at the XC60 and XC90. Mary, a sales rep, came to help us, and she was extremely rude. She was not knowledgeable about the vehicles at all, and could not navigate through the use of the back seats of the XC90. It was obvious that she was not in the mood to help out customers, and we were immediately turned off and disappointed. Do not waste your time!…
Best in Texas for CPO Volvo's!.
We live in Dallas - and this was actually the second vehicle we have driven down to purchase. No one else in the state has the inventory and pricing, especially on Volvo CPO's that Roger Beasley
does.
Ray Lewis and Wes Morris - are the best! We clearly laid out vehicle expectations, financial parameters and the time line for completing our purchase as it was just before the holiday. During the entire time we found our conversations with Ray and Wes to be comfortable and customer focused.
Like a well oiled machine once we identified a vehicle that worked for us - they quickly "made it happen". As a result of their efforts, we drove home in our "new to us" 2007 S80 CPO.
We will be back!…
The Best!.
Ordered my 2004 XC90 in 2003 and took delivery that August from Volvo on 290 in Austin, dealt with that service department once and Rick Cornelius and then followed him to Georgetown location.
Been dealing with him and Lance and others ever since for EVERYTHING on my XC90...6 years of INCREDIBLE service.
They have done everything from inspection stickers to transmission replacements and once when I had a drivetrain problem while out of town and had to deal with another Volvo dealer, Rick was kind enought to check everything out once I got back in town to make sure nothing was left undone.
Honesty and integrity is all I have ever experienced with this group...and the repairs and maintenance have never been cheap...but you get what you pay for and I have gotten the BEST service of any car dealer I have EVER dealt with since I have been driving which is a LONG time...just leave it at that.
I am not in the market for another Volvo at this time and am concerned about getting good service, see I am spoiled by the Georgetown Volvo group...but I am going to try and stick with Roger Beasley owned dealerships and can only hope that their service is as satisfactory across the board.…
Fix one item break another. Everytime I take my car in to be fixed, it comes out with a different problem. For example, my turn light switch was broken. They fixed the switch, but now everytime I use my windshield washer my radio speakers produce this lound static noise. Another instance, my front shocks were replaced. Now everytime I make a sharp left turn my tire touches the inside fender.…
