Company is now Signature Exteriors. I recently had my siding replaced with Hardie siding by Signature Exteriors. I had repairs done by Russell when they were Key Signature, and had a good experience then. I found them on the Better Business Beaureau site. I recieved 5 estimates and found Signature's to be the most detailed and reliable. I chose them for three reasons - quality of work, education on the consumer, and financial assistance.

Compared to all the other quotes I recieved theirs was the only firm and detailed one. Russell took time to answer questions about supplies, the scope of work, and our financial concerns, I knew all the details beforehand and had it all in writing.

The quality of the work and attention to detail was fantastic. When Paul and his crew arrived they worked busy days, took pride in their work, and kept the site picked up each day. They never took short-cuts. Paul walked me around each day and show me some of the details that made the job unique. They asked before trimming back the vines that were in the way of the work, and despite the heat did a beautiful job. Russell said the job would take 7-10 days and it did. It aslo cost exactly what I was quoted as no other problems were faound. I knew that the other companies were either leaving out details I needed or would give me a low price to sell the job, then charge me more after it started ( one of the quotes I had was from a referal of my best friend- and this is exactly what they did to her!)

I used the Enerbank one-year financing that Signature offered. it was honest, with no hidden charges. They let me know immediately that I was approved, and the paperwork and documentation were convenient.

I would recommend Signature Exteriors to anyone who want honest quality work.

Never had a more proffesional contracting experience.. I did not realize there were contractors out there like these people!! I wish I had called them before I hired my last roofing "con" man!

I called these guys after a referral from a neighbor who had them repair some roofing and siding problems. They were on time, courteous and thorough, and acted very different from the other roofers I had already talked to. They provided me with a sort of generic consumer protection brochure (which I REALLY could have used to research my previous contractors!) and would have saved me an enormous amount of time and money.

They were the only roofer willing to meet my wife and I to go over our project in detail. They were the only roofer who gave us options on things like ventilation and different ways to fix a problematic porch roof. They were the only one who offered us the choice of a better roof ( Insurance discount for the "Impact shingles" )

After going through my last few contracting nightmares, I checked them out thoroughly and could not find anyone who had bad things to say! As far as the employees every one I dealt with from the estimator down to the project manager did their best to please us.

Their price was lower than two other bids and higher than one. But I have had enough bad experiences with contractors ( AC work, remodeling, roofing) than to go cheap on contracting.

I give them my highest recommendation!

Be sure to get other quotes. This company does very good presentations. But the quote they gave me was 100% higher for the same roofing system warranty supplied by the manufacturer (Certaineed Integrity System). The manufacturer warranty covers not just the shingles but all the entire roofing system. It is transferable and supported by the manufacturer. It is different than the 30-, 40-, 50 year warranty on only the shingles. I would suggest to get quotes from several contractors. Key Signature charges very high price (much higher than market). Also they don't carry worker comp insurance (at least when I was talking to them), which their own brochure advises consumers to ask of otheir roofing contractors.
