A skinny room with high ceilings and a half balcony houses this small bar and live music venue. From the black leather banquet to the red cinderblock walls, What Bar exudes a certain underworld charm. Mirrors over the booths sparkle in the dim lighting and the black granite bar counter is usually crowded with elbows and mixed drinks. In front, a small stage accommodates local rock bands and occasional fashion shows.

We went on a Friday night because of a birthday party and was stuck at this horrible place. The bartenders were more interested in talking to a girl over serving drinks. The music was horrible and the only people there (other than our group) we quite on the fugly side. When you got a big belly, it's ok to come to What Bar and show it off. We'll go elsewhere.
