Below Average food. I have been to this place a few times. The only thing you should eat there is their appetizer which is the chicken lollipop, which is good.

every thing else ranges from below average to outright bad.

They use the same base curry for most of their dishes. all non-indian cooks dole out the cookie cutter dishes from inside. so you know the standard of Indian food being cooked.

I am surprised by the reviews here, either the folks who have positive reviews have never had real Indian Chineese in INDIA or there is another place they are talking baout.

Great food, great price. This is my new favorite restaurant! I've eaten there probably 10 times since it opened and have never been disappointed. The portion size is always generous, food is consistenly good, convenient and excellent value. I always order the Indian food, so I can't really comment on the chinese menu items, but I would think they are probably equally good. Indian entrees will come in your choice of mild, medium, and hot. I like hot food, but the hot is seriously hot, so I opt for the medium now. This place is especially great if you live in North Austin and want to grab a quick delicious meal to eat in or take out. I highly recommend it!

Worst Restaurant Eating Experience I Ever Had. rice: burnt and hard

nan: burnt and dry

meat: it seems they intentionally make it dry and tasteless so that you would buy curry sauce (yes, you have to pay for curry sauce!)

samosas: worst samosas I've ever tasted--just plain boring/tasteless

Their menu is screwed up. One dish that has curry sauce in the description didn't come with ANY. And they should have more than one kind of curry sauce--I'm not a big fan of tomato-based curry sauce, and that's all they had. I never thought Indian food could be bad until I went here. They did have good mango lassi though.

WOW - Best Chicken Tikka Masala. Their chicken tikka masala is amazing, the best in Austin that I have had. I highly recommend the dish.
