C'mon man! i've had better. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you like bad service and feel like you are being watched every time you get a new plate (C'mon man!)I printed a coupon for 50%off meals off the internet and tried to use it, but was denied a discount on my meal because I didn't give it to the waiter as soon as I walked in (C'mon man!)....so our meal ended up costing $28.00 for the buffet for 2 people with drinks (C'mon man!) I?ve had better food and friendlier service off a road side vendor. It?s decorated nice and some of the food is o.k, but I would never go back there again, i do recommend the indian star on Anderson Ln.-B-

great casual neighborhood restaurant. I got a coupon in the mail (buy one meal get one free), and decided to eat here. It was great! I've been six or seven times now and had the buffet every time because #1 the coupon, and #2 I don't really know enough about Indian food yet to pick things off a menu. The buffet doesn't seem to change. Every time they've got lamb meatballs, chicken, beef, tandoori chicken, saag paneer, naan, rice, lot of veggies, and at least 3 desserts. If you use the coupon, it's a great value considering the quality and quantity of the food.

This is a very low-key establishment--the decor isn't upscale and the buffet is pretty low-tech, but that doesn't detract from my meal at all.

DO NOT EAT HERE. If you liked this restaurant you have never had good indian food. I am from Houston and have lived in NYC so I have had the opportunity to eat at many indian food restaurants and this is by far the WORST indian food place I have ever eaten at! Let's start off with the fact that the sauces they bring you and at other indian places they usual to dip in the sauces. There is a red sauce and a green sauce and they were not authentic at all. The green herb like sauce was NEON green. That is not normal, and it was also extremly watery. My friend ordered a lamb dish, and it was definitley not lamb. We asked them what it was and they said it was a side cut. I don't know if that is code for a bad cut of beef, but it tasted nothing like lamb. I ordered a shrimp curry dish. It was called a tomato onion curry, yet the curry was yellow. So I thought maybe they just have yellow tomatos. But it did not taste like tomatoes and there were no onions in it what so ever. Also it was very bland. Bland is not something that should ever be used to describe indian food. DO NOT EAT HERE. I read many reviews online and know that every restaraunts will have some bad reviews, but I am telling you this is not good food.

Best Indian restaurant in Austin. The authenticity and quality of the Indian Palace's Buffet is extraordinary.

Their Chicken Tandoori, Samosas, Vegetables and variety of meats are an excellent exposition of the Indian Cuisine. There is a good combination of spices and flavors in everything they cook. That's why their food smells and tastes great! Quality over quantity is probably the key ingredient in this cozzy and well decorated Indian restaurant. You will be tempted to refill your plate again and again.

Great customer service and attention in detail. Your opinion really counts!

Nowhere near.. I'm not sure what all these reviews are about!? My husband and I are new to town from Houston, and we chose this place based on reviews especially the one commenting about comparable to Houston Indian restaurants. We both got sick after eating the lunch buffet, literally. The best thing was the samosa which had probably been sitting there for over an hour. The food lacked in flavor (yes, indian food lacking flavor) in comparison to other Indian restaurants we have tried. We absolutely looooove Indian food, but this place was awful. Sorry! I hope we just went in on a bad day, we won't be going back.

Best Indian food in town!. First of all i wish there were more stars to give this great restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is out of this world. I would challenge anyone who goes to another buffet style restaurant to beat the excellent food and prices you can find at Indian Palace. If you are looking for a variety of Indian foods look no further you have found your messiah.

Pros: Great service great food and great atmosphere

Cons:None whatsoever

The green sauce is to die for.... This is one of the best Indian buffet style restaurants I have been to...though I do agree, it is pricey. I found the food to be fresh and plentiful as the buffet had the largest amount of food choices I have seen at a Indian style buffet.

I found the service to be appropriate for a buffet style place as other than clearing dirty and empty plates, they were unassuming and helpful when flagged for assistance.

Did I mention the green sauce?

To die for.

This is the good stuff .... Tasty, yummy and tasty buffet. The food here is fresh, oh so flavorful, and there is plenty to choose from. If you are looking for consistenly delicious Indian food - it will be here. Each time I go I wonder how I did without it for so long. On a side note: Sometimes it does seem like the owner men up in here may have their undies all in their c r a c k - the one woman in here is always so pleasant though.

Worst Food. Worst service.. I can only say that it's the worst indian restaurant i have ever been to. The hospitality was awful too. None of the dishes were tasting good and seemed to be unhealthy. We reached the restaurant at 9pm and the dishes were almost over and were served cold. I ended up paying $11 for this horrible food. Take my words seriously or else you will regret.
