In life, there are woefully rare moments where one can clearly see crystallized forms at once both perfectly beautiful and stunningly correct, that you are left questioning whether its creation is either fantastic and fictional, or truly even meant for us. There are seemingly no less than exactly 212,000 restaurants with cuisine steeped in rich Indian tradition. But, like everything else that is transported to Austin via opportunity and American Airlines, there are usually a few quirks in the translation. This either will either render the cuisine useless and unsuitable, or particularly dire in its consequences. Take, for example, Madras Pavilion. Madras is standard Southern fare, with a long-standing clientèle, and a reputation for its excellent vegetarian-specific Indian buffet. While you’ll mostly get the idea of what’s delicious while at the Pavilion, it’s the equivalent of watching the Spanglish version of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure. You know the joke, but you often miss the punchline. Bombay Bistro is the Blu-Ray High-Def version of your greatest fantasy. Game over, you’re done. Go to the buffet, and let no less than four selections seduce you into spicy submission. You’ll be left with eating so quickly, that there is no sense of something wonderful happening. You could spend the next three days overindulging and fantasizing about Bistro’s latest culinary experiment in perfection, and still only realize a bit less than half of how good it really is. It makes me wonder whether the chefs at Bombay Bistro are in fact preparing cuisine for mere mortals, but in fact have some agenda for something more, shall we say, divine. And where else you would want to have this experience? Eat in, don’t take out. Because the Bombay Bistro dining room is more satisfying than a morphine-drip party at Caligula’s. And the staff is friendly, too.
Pros: Food?
Cons: Need to use money?

This Indian restaurant is pretty BAD in all ways.. I asked them for Veg Biriyani and asked them to make it spicy.. Trust me they just don't understand what spicy is ... he gave me something that was just a mix of rice and some carrots.. They dont even know that adding carrot will make the dish sweet. I then asked him to make it spicy and when he gave me second time, he had just put some pepper powder, not even mixed well and he was claiming that actually its dhum Biriyani ( fyi :: Dhum means strength.. ) *** DONT EVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT , THEY JUST DON'T KNOW COOKING... *** and service is thrown to hell .... I would recommend you guys to try " Masala Wok" and "Bombay Express" to see how good a food can taste..
Pros: Ambience is good..
Cons: Apart from Ambience, rest are all BAD....
