Since I am always looking for ways to detox, I got brave and tried the Infrared sauna, I felt and slept great that night. Definately worth it and I was very impressed with the privacy. Am glad I took Cassondra's(the owner) advice, I will going back for more. very friendly, & nice look and feel

Love it!. Whole Body Studio is my new fix. I had a massage by Luna a few weekends ago, she was wonderful. I cannot wait to go back for a facial and other treatments. Hopefully I will get back there soon! If someone were to ask me my recommendation of a place to go for the ultimate in relaxation and beauty, I would point them to Whole Body Studio in a heartbeat. Jennie, the owner, is hands down, THE BEST! She is friendly and has a wealth of knowledge about the industry! Nothing but love! ;)

Best Service. I have known Jennie since she took ownership of Whole Body Studio and she is amazing and SO sweet. The second I walk in the door I feel right at home. I have had facials and waxings performed at the spa and I have never left dissatisfied. The spa itself is cute and warm. The staff works hard to give you awesome service and I would recomend this spa to everyone. You will leave feeling amazing!

Best services, staff and ambience. I recently moved to the Austin area from Southern California. In California I had been going to the same person for waxing and facials for over ten years. Needless to say, I was mourning the loss of good friends and perfect service. I was dreading having to find new salons for my various services. Since I know no one in Austin, I had to resort to the internet to try and find some place. I contacted a number of salons to inquire about their services and to emphasize the standard with which they would be held. I stopped calling when I talked with Jennie. She expressed a genuine understanding of how difficult it is to find a new place and assured me I would not be disappointed. I scheduled a Brazilian bikini wax (I know, pretty daring for the first time, but it had to be done!). Just as Jennie said, I was impressed with the salon and I don't think I have ever had such a thorough bikini wax! I was very pleased and rescheduled for an eyebrow wax and facial. Now, if I can only find a hair stylist!!!!

great customer service. very welcoming from minute you walk in the door. went in for a brazilian wax and walked out very satisfied. wonderful company while very professional. used hard wax which i was not too familiar with but successful in the end. recommended to all that actually will go through with waxing. thank you so much!

Whole Body Studio Response. At Whole Body Studio, customer service is our primary concern. We have many regular clients and this is the first time we have had a complaint of this nature. We would never blame a client for their own discomfort. Our estheticians are skilled, trained and fully licensed and we always try to determine what a cause for discomfort might be. We use the same waxing technique on all of our clients and have never gotten a negative comment of this nature. We are very sorry to hear that someone had a bad experience and we certainly would have done whatever we could to remedy the situation at the time of service if we had known the client felt so adamantly about it. We would have rescinded any charge for services or offered them a free service. We never want a client to leave our spa unhappy. If the individual who wrote the review would like to contact us for a free service of their choice, we would be glad to oblige her. Also, we do have several other estheticians available for waxing services. We typically get rave reviews from our clientele for our waxing technique and ?bedside manner? and this is something in which we take a great deal of pride.

Half Waxed!. I have to say that I was very excited about going to a new place for waxing, even though it was for a brazilian bikini wax! The place looks very promising with it being in a great location, the wonderful lighting and serene atmosphere. The staff appeared to be very friendly and made you feel comfortable in such an akward request. However, things quickly took a turn. After 30 minutes of the aesthitician applying the wax with pop sicle sticks and letting them dry, she then proceeded to rip them off and with each pull it resulted in the sticks breaking. Her response was " this is my technique and I am the only one who does it this way in Austin" , then to myself I was thinking, "hummm, wonder why?! duh!) Then to add to the horrible pain and embarresment, she would then tug at least 3 to 4 times to get whatever type of wax off. Now, I know what you maybe thinking.... but this was not my first rodeo. I am the type of person who is well groomed if you know what I mean. So, after only getting half way through, I told her to quit and that the pain was unbearable, as you well can imagine when the wax 1) doesn't come off 2) she is pulling too slow 3) she keeps trying in the same spot! Also, not to forget mentioning, she blames it on the fact that sometimes wax reacts differently on some people. Whatever! I then proceed to the get myself together and wonder if I can even get back to work on time and more or less walk. Then in the front office as I am checking out, apologies are now coming from everywhere. They ended up charging me less than originally planned, but I was then told that because I was PMS-ing, that is the reason it hurt. ( I do know this is true, but I am no idiot! This time It wasn't because of that!) I just couldn't believe she was trying to blame it on me. Well, to end this misery for everyone, including myself, I would not get any body waxing, stick to a message and let me know how that goes!!

Great Experience. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The spa was clean, relaxed and wonderful. It right on 6th St. and they saw me the same day
