great coffee and great service. i really enjoyed my first visit to cafe caffeine. nice decor and calm atmosphere. the coffe was spectatcular and so was the service. i definitely recommmend this shop, not only for it's service and coffee but also for it's spunky and playful decor and feel.

i'll be back.

nice environment but unpleasant staff. I have been twice and both times the people working were less than nice.

not sure what the deal is but I prefer to hang out a coffee place where the people who work there are actually pleasant to interact with....

Dee-LITEfully delicious fun!. I knew I was going to love this place even before I walked in the door. The patio alone, with it's bamboo, and amazing (and very soothing) waterfall sculpture sold me almost from the start. The interior is just the coolest. Retro, eclectic - I totally LOVED all the 50s and 60s transistor radios hanging from the ceiling! It has a definite political bent that is oh so 78704 . When I was there, the place was packed for an ACLU meeting and even the mayor was there. The coffee and the service was great and I had a Chorizo and Goatcheese Quiche that was to die for. The free WiFi was an unexpected treat, too. The whole place has this wild, zany vibe to it. Even the restrooms were flawless.

more than great coffee!. I was so surprised at this new fabulous coffee spot in a city of great coffee shops! Not only tasty coffee and baristas who know what they are doing, but the decor is awesome (50's deco with a cool fish tank hanging on the wall amongst the art), live local music, poetry slams, hifi wireless - there's almost no need to leave! Organic coffee and vegan banana bread...no better way to start the day...thanks for being in 78704!

A South Austin Jewel!. This place is amazing. The atmosphere is second to none. The barista's are extremely talented at what they do. A+++ quality coffee and food. Great place to hang and study or to take in some really eclectic musicians at night. Every trip to this place has been a wonderful suprise. Don't deny yourself...check it out soon! Oh yeah...bring your dog too. They have water bowls on the beautiful patio for the pooches.

Wow! Cool place! South-Austin is alive and well!. Visited Cafe' Caffeine for the first time last evening around 8:00pm. We found ourselves in the midst of a weekly poetry event. Very cool...all kinds of people mingling, doing all kinds of things (even a tarot card reader sitting on the patio). Inside...relaxing and "wild but it works" decor. The patio has a marvelous water feature. We have never seen anything like it. Looking forward to returning during a live music performance. Oh and did I mention delicious espresso and coffee?...we'll be back!
