Make sure THEY sign the contract!. I wish I could say what kind of painters they are. I'll never know because I won't hire them again. Based on their great reviews, I called for an estimate to paint the exterior of my home in Wimberley. Their representative came out and examined my home, took photos and emailed me a written contract. I signed the contract and emailed it to the company. They charged 50% of the total amount of the contract on my credit card and promised to start in about 10 days. I THOUGHT we had a contract. On the day they were scheduled to start, Archie showed up with his crew and said the job would be at least DOUBLE the amount on the contract. When I inquired how that could be the case, given that they had provided the contract, Archie reminded me that the contract had not been signed by Doug Gorton. Needless to say, I could not afford to pay double the amount on the contract. I subsequently hired Ball Brothers Painting (512-360-7062). They started two days later, did meticulous prep and paint work, and charged me EXACTLY the amount they estimated. John Ball did not make me pay half up front or make me sign a contract. He is an honest business man and I recommend Ball Brothers Painting over Doug Gorton any day.…

Another Great Job and Happy Client!. Doug and his crew just finished another job for my design firm and did a great job! They showed up on time, finished on time and left the job clean and my client's happy. Archie the Operations Manager and Liz the Office Manager are great to work with and take care of any of my clients needs immediately.

They are never my lowest bids, but I never have to worry whether they will do a good job, babysit or police them.

My years of experience has taught me that the low bid hardly ever works out, can be problematic and needs lots of managing from me, which does not make it a good value in the end.

And what I truly want more than a low price is peace of mind for me and my client's.

This is the fourth job that they have completed for us in the last year and I kept promising them I would post a review and now I have kept my promise.

I will use them again, and recommend them to all my friends and clients.…
