Excellent quality exterior paint job! I was pretty picky when I was looking for a painter to paint the exterior of my house. I got 4 estimates. Other estimates included another highly rated company on yelp and a couple of people who could do the job very cheaply. Doug Gorton was about even with one and higher than 2 others. The job that they did was WELL worth it. You get what you pay for. Quality.

I got the best feeling of the expertise of the bidders BY FAR from Archie at Doug Gorton. He knew his stuff (compared to others) and was very easy to work with. Overall, I couldn't be any happier with the job they did.

I have a 1950's house and wanted the buildup of old paint mapping smoothed out in the prep job prior to painting, wanted some lap siding replaced due to rot. Archie made recommendations for different conditions of the siding during the estimating process.

Doug Gorton only uses top quality products and they 'do the job right' and stand by it afterwards with a guarantee. Archie's crew led by Edgar did a meticulous prep job, did a top quality job with the two top coats of Sherwin Williams Duration paint and did every touchup I asked for afterwards for complete customer satisfaction. They came out afterwards to touch up a couple of areas that were affected by rain (it rained 2 days after the paint job)

I would highly recommend Doug Gorton to anyone looking for a top quality paint job at a reasonable price.

Another Great Job and Happy Client!. Doug and his crew just finished another job for my design firm and did a great job!

They showed up on time, finished on time and left the job clean and my client's happy.

Archie the Operations Manager and Liz the Office Manager are great to work with and take care of any of my clients needs immediately.

They are never my lowest bids, but I never have to worry whether they will do a good job, babysit or police them.

My years of experience has taught me that the low bid hardly ever works out, can be problematic and needs lots of managing from me, which does not make it a good value in the end.

And what I truly want more than a low price is peace of mind for me and my client's.

This is the fourth job that they have completed for us in the last year and I kept promising them I would post a review and now I have kept my promise.

I will use them again, and recommend them to all my friends and clients.

Thank you, Doug!. Doug Gorton professionally faux painted interior walls (including a brick fireplace) and ceilings in our home, as per our interior decorator's design. We were totally satisfied with the subtle appearance of the faux painting and the quality of the work. His workers were friendly and clean cut. I would not hesitate to recommend Doug Gorton to anyone who appreciates and expects quality workmanship.

Excellent Painting Company!. We were extremely pleased with the results of using Doug Gorton Professional Painting. From the initial job site quotation process to the final finished product, this firm is the most professional and highest quality painting firm that we have used in our over 30 years as home owners.

great job. I was very pleased with a room painting, and recommend to anyone. The guys were very thorough and dedicated (and energetic!). It was clear they knew their subject and how to get good results. I'll have more painting to come, and will definitely be calling them again.

Exterior House Painting. I am pleased with the quality of work in the repainting of the exterior of my house. Doug was professional and thorough in his initial discussions and the bid was detailed and professional with competitive, fair prices. There were some delays in getting started, but his crew was thorough, careful, and friendly. The quality of work and care around the house was very satisfactory. There was also good follow up by Doug to ensure satisfaction. I would definitely use Doug's team again
