Stay away. The worst. Beware, they have unattended car return and a reputation for bogus damage claims (which you will not be able to refute). When we contested the claim they sent us a picture of the damage - which was on different model and color car than we rented. Eventually we discussed with our insurance agent (State Farm) and they suggested we turn it over to them. State Farm and our supplemental credit card coverage paid up so we were not out of pocket any money. But this is an unethical business, best to avoid. This applies to the Bergstrom location only, we have not (and never will) rent from any Ace franchise ever again.…
Best rental experience in years.. I rented a car online for a weekend trip to Texas. I chose Ace based on rates, and had no issues getting the car. I asked the salesperson about the car, giving her some insight as to the reason I needed a particular sized car, and when an upgrade was not available, she offered the SUV for a nominal charge. It saved the day having the extra space, and the car handled, drove, and air-conditioned beautifully. I will not hesitate to recommend them based on this experience, and will look for Ace in any markets I fly into.…
Customer for life!!!!. After Vantage did not honor my reservations, I went to Ace where they only got me into a car right away, but gave me the price that Vantage was suppose to give me and gave me a free upgrade. Experienced the BEST customer service at the counter as well as when picking up the car. Ace made a very frustrating day very pleasant!…
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I returned my car and upon inspection they noted a door ding/rock chip on the rear passanger door....this was written on the check in slip. I was told a manager would call me to discuss the "damage". HUH??? Damage? You could barely SEE the chip. A manager never called me but instead I received a repair bill for $622.00. These people are crooks!! Steer Clear!!!…
BEWARE of Ace Rental they will scam you!.
Set up a normal rental in Central America, they faxed me a confirm which I took with me. Arrived to out sourced rental car company, they attempted to increase the price by $100 totally disregarding
the confirm I had from ACE, leaving me stranded in remote area off site late in day. Forcing me to return to airport in attempt to find another rent car company in foreign country at night. Not a good thing but I will not be extorted for money. Called the company upon return to US they had little comment, not even a "Sorry" this happened. They are a Scam in my book.
Leaving a visiting tourist in Central American country stranded is VERY BAD business in my book. BE WARE!…
